I couldnt understand how to plant first 3 minutes, I guess what I read as "C" was "E" in the font(better to write controls in the game page too). I love graphics and atmosphere overall. About gameplay, probably you can make some rules that to harvest/plant specific plant you need it to be surrounded by other specific plants, like this red plant - R, green plant G R-G-R ----R to make it more interesting/challenging(and remove rotting in this case).
