Oct 4 13:26:35 SOME LEVELS! HERO ♥ 2 Nice work! Love the simple art style especially jumping frog animations. I would have liked a more powerful weapon to come more quickly as it takes so many bullets to kill anything and it gets a little tiresome. Well done for making a game :D
Oct 4 13:37:40 11m 05s PipeNightmare ♥ 3 Good work! The game looks great, the art and music are really nice. As you and others said, it's a bit too difficult to be satisfying. So it is with jam games! It's hard to make everything AND balance the gameplay in a weekend :). Good job completing something despite your circumstances <3
Oct 4 13:51:39 13m 59s Within ♥ 2 Cute! I didn't quite understand what I was supposed to do but maybe I'm dumb. Cool avante-garde music!
Oct 4 13:57:29 5m 50s Cyber Survivor ♥ 2 Good work dude! Shooting felt satisfying and the bullets look good. I guess the only thing would be to have more variety to keep the interest, but that's jams for you. What you have works well!
Oct 4 14:28:47 31m 18s Demons, bullets and new rules ♥ 2 Wow, really great polish and visuals, satisfying feedback and sound effects. Good implementation of the theme.
Oct 4 14:40:04 11m 17s Sprawl: A cyberpunk interactive graphic novel ♥ 1 Great idea! I'm glad you mentioned about the infinite choice of alternatives devaluing individual drawings. I was thinking throughout that it would be so much better with fewer images, that you should just choose one image per idea instead of 6, then that image becomes more impactful. Interesting that you were exploring this idea in itself. AI-generated imagery just becomes bleh after seeing a hundred amazing-looking images back-to-back. It's a weird feeling.
Oct 4 14:49:07 9m 03s Bad Thoughts ♥ 3 Whoah! Awesome world and visuals and music and an original, trippy experience all around. For my taste it could have been a bit easier and more satisfying to kill stuff, I wasn't very engaged by the gameplay. I would have preferred to have a smoother ride just enjoying and exploring the world and maybe getting a bit of story.
Oct 4 19:45:15 4h 56m Tiny Time Jockey (Future) ♥ 2 It's a pretty cool idea! It's hard to figure it out in time, but the clues are fun. There's some great tunes in there too. Good work
Oct 4 21:28:07 1h 42m StrayaCraft ♥ 2 G'day Mate!
Oct 4 21:33:15 5m 08s Breacher ♥ 2 Nice pixel art, good visual style
Oct 4 21:47:51 14m 36s Monkey Bu$iness ♥ 2 Really fun! Worrying close to real-life experiences buying crypto. As soon as I buy the price tanks, and as soon as I sell it rockets. Then someone hits me with a wrench Great game, it kept my interest for some time!
Oct 5 10:08:48 12h 20m Regular Railway ♥ 4 This is fantastic! Really great idea and great implementation, one of the most fun games I have played from this jam. To be honest I was happy to see that you are a team of 5, cos I was about to start feeling bad about how much I accomplished on my own game ;D. But really this is a great piece. My only frustration is the difficulty ramp, it's already too challenging on the second level. I think it's important to give people a few easy wins early, otherwise its too de-motivating to keep trying, unless you're a particular kind of gamer. I think you could introduce the different types of track piece gradually, as they were needed. In a single play session of 20 mins I would want to be able to complete 4 or 5 levels and feel some balance of accomplishment and challenge. This is just me being picky though. Overall this is a great achievement for you guys and could easily be developed into a full game. I'd love to do the art please! :DD
Oct 5 19:25:22 9h 16m You Have a Call ♥ 2 Amazing artwork, cool music and a great vibe. The dialogue was funny and characterful - what I could manage to read of it... I became very quickly overwhelmed by the speed of the game and how much there was to read, I'm not very good at processing information that fast, so it stopped being fun after a minute or two. As others have said, it would probably be more fun without the 10 second thing. To be honest, most of the games in this jam would have been better without the 10 second aspect... Not that I'm blaming the theme or anything... :D
Oct 5 19:42:38 17m 16s Fall Girl ♥ 3 I can dodge bullets, drop kick drones out of the sky, leap over birds, and dive out of the way of falling objects... but that old lady... she scares me. Great game! I loved the 2d vector look, I haven't seen as much of that style but it looks very polished and professional. Very fun style and vibe. I did give up on the second level because it's quite slow to clean all the windows, and waiting for the platforms to move feels very slow, and I have the attention span of a squirrel, so when I got all the way to the end of a level only to die on the last window, I couldn't quite bring myself to go through the entire thing again. That's probably just me. Well done!
Oct 5 19:58:08 15m 30s 10 Minute Apocalypse ♥ 1 This is definitely one of the best top-down shooters I've played this jam. The controls feel good, you actually feel pretty cool and powerful whizzing around killing robots (until you get completely overwhelmed after 2 minutes :D). Upgrades feel impactful, cannon feels powerful, except I never got to see the impact because I'd already fled from the scene by the time it hit! Good job all around
Oct 5 20:45:03 46m 55s Chromo Trigger ♥ 5 Wow that was an intense and thrilling experience! Super awesome game and the highest scores I have yet given anyone. With such a simple yet original premise you managed to engage me 100% for the whole game. The Voice acting and writing were HILARIOUS and made me lol. Whatever it is, it had that magic something that made we want to play to the end, which takes something extra for me because I'm so easily bored. I think it was great that you didn't die and have to start from the beginning, but just lost gems when hurt. I think if I'd died and had to start from the beginning I would have just quit. Animations, characters and effects were all on-point. If I were to criticize anything it would be aesthetic, the art for the environment/background lets the look down a bit, and I think having sprites with such a big difference in pixel resolutions looks a bit cheap. Seriously minor issues though, I just like to give balanced feedback. Thanks for the fun.
Oct 5 21:32:20 47m 17s Slime Can Fly ♥ 2 Cute and stylish! Really gives classic nintendo vibes
Oct 21 14:01:19 376h 28m Void Well ♥ 1 Excellent game, thumbs up!
