After 5 times of not knowing how to charge my jump (no in game controls explained) and falling into that pit. I just gave up. But the artwork is cool! simple and its funny! The music for it fits perfectly and sounds great! If you had written the controls on the background in the game itself, that would've made it easier for me. I'm bad at games in general so my review may not be accurate. I enjoyed chuckling at the theme! thanks! I subbed to the musician who made the audio. i enjoyed that part very much! | |
| Oct 5 01:25:41 | 19m 34s | Escaped Plague | ♥ 1 | The controls seemed strange for me, i naturally went for "shift" instead of "b" for dashing. I didn't play the tutorial. I'm just not good at video games in general. The concept seemed really cool!! I attacked a few things, then my screen flashed red and i died? then i became the flying bug thing and hit F to restore sanity to something....but it didn't do anything. I didn't know what was going on. I prefer games i can just jump into playing without doing any kind of tutorial...thats just me. But props for making a tutorial too. Graphics were awesome and i liked the artwork alot. I wish there was a sound track during the gameplay though. The attack sounds and dialogue sounded good! I hope my review seemed fair! In conclusion: Theme, graphics and mood were the strongest in this game imho. in that order |
| Oct 5 01:45:23 | 19m 42s | NEKONOVA'S NOT HOME | ♥ 6 | The controls were simple and intuitive! the game was very graphically pleasing, I'll play it again later for sure and its definitely my favorite of the 4 games i've tried here already. The camera movements are perfect and it feels playful and fun. the concept is really cool! I'm pretty bad at video games so im super glad the controls were simple. I like to just jump in and play the game, so having one shot from blue to blue, and then being whirled around by the gravity of the blackhole felt immersive and chill. i like chill. I love the audio track its very chill! had that 80s synth sound which i love. I hope my review and rating was fair! cheers! PS i got to 13 after my 6th try. (EDIT) My wife played the game too. she tried for about 30 minutes. she got from 0-5 most times. but she did get 17 one time, i wish i could send you the photo as proof!!! im gona bump the overall from 4 to 5! because my wife played it more than she played the game my team was involved in...good job. I'd love to see a finished product from this, this game is fun and easy and the RNG is good, i feel the RNG is 90% if you are clicking randomly, and 50% if you're clicking intentionally with aim. my wifes take on the audio she said "it sounds very chinese" (shes from Indonesia and I'm korean-American}. The audio fit the theme of the game for sure, but it's just super super quiet but overall balanced with the rest of the sounds. the controls didn't feel intuitive for me... but thats just me. I'm pretty bad at this game but i enjoyed it and since its infinite and endless ill enjoy it in my freetime even after this ludemdare is done. (i like to just jump into games without reading or learning how to play and im bad at games in general, but this felt like the 2nd best game ive played out of 4 games currently! Hope you feel my review was fair! |
| Oct 6 00:35:03 | 22h 33m | Unstable Platform | ♥ 1 | The game was very difficult but the controls felt right and were very intuitive. the platforms dissapearing reminded me of Super mario world 2 on the Super nintendo( the levels where the logs drop after you land on them) i didn't get very far. But if you did all this on your own IM VERY IMPRESSED. GREAT GAME for a solo-creation. Cheers! And i liked that it was a browser based game because im running out of HD space lol |

My wife has a bone to pick with Australia (shes from Indonesia) so i thought this theme was super funny. you get a 5 for theme. The music was great, not sure if you made it? the singer sounded like a pro singer, i dont know italian so i can't say whether its real words or not lol. But the explanation of the controls didn't tell me how to play the game, it looks like it could be fun, but i gave up after 1 play through...i feel like i had to guess what to do. I'm sure there is some method to get it right. You get 5s for the idea and theme from me. and the music was cool (im just a musician)but i dont feel like you made the music for it, if you did... comment..if you didn't... comment anyway and lets link up id love to network with other musicians espeLS |

I got to the 2nd level with the white blocks and when i fell into below the game didn't automatically restart. i didn't like that. the music sounds good! you did this all yourself, so it's a good job! i can't do what you can do. the vibe is there for sure. I'm not certain of the object of this game but it seemed interesting. Also there was no audio for me. not sure if that was intentional. I also had to alt +f4 to leave the game lol. there was no quit button |

For a first game this is an excellent job, great and clever simple puzzles!!! (audio fit the theme, i dont see a rating for it or it'd be a 5. Did you make it from scratch? |
