The "twist" at the end gave me a chuckle! I was a little confused at the beginning, since I didn't realize I had to capture a specific bug. I kept thinking my 'F' key wasn't working, so I guess given more dev time, error feedback would be nice. Very good entry! Thank you for giving me the link! | |

The collection aspect is right up my alley, and I found myself playing for quite a while! I do agree that it takes a while to get going, but fishing games are about patience, right? The reel sound got a little grating after a while, but that's my only real complaint. Very nice job! |

Towards the end, the bloom and chromatic aberration started to hurt my eyes a bit, but I think it's worth the experience. Also, I could see myself listening to the music outside the game - it was great! I especially liked how it synchronized with specific points in the course. Gameplay was fun! The course is also surprisingly long for a ludum dare game! My only complaint here was that crouching didn't seem to really do anything, besides maybe dodge under obstacles. The theme is fun too. I was not expecting to see that first foot in the forest - I guess I should have expected it from the game's name! Anyway, great entry! |
