Apr 29 13:33:40 Spirit ♥ 1 I do like this game, and it's definitely a solid foundation for a game. The simplistic graphics, in my opinion, don't need to be updated, and actually really add to the calming experience. Even with the action, everything feels like (and this is probably a strange analogy) I'm just sitting at the bottom of an ocean, just alone and not worrying about anything going on on the surface. Audio is fairly decent, and the theme connection is strong.
Apr 29 23:18:09 9h 44m acoustic Ario Bleeds ♥ 0 After playing this game, I was very confused, but in a good way. I wasn't quite sure what was going on, but it was still incredibly enjoyable during playing. The theme was tied in well, even though I couldn't truly understand how the sacrifices were working. It was completely hilarious, the graphics made it super funny to play through. If you went back and perfected the gameplay, this would be a top game for me.
Apr 30 12:16:19 12h 58m bloodsucker. ♥ 1 The gameplay is fun, excluding the AI that makes it near impossible to get anything done. It seems that just as I move, the souls move directly into a spot where they can kill me. This makes it rather annoying to get any souls, but the graphics and feel of everything made up for it. Also: I need to kill the black people!
Apr 30 13:26:42 1h 10m Life-Points, A Ludum Dare Game. ♥ 0 I cheated with the dev key (mainly because you told me what it was), but it was still pretty enjoyable to run around and just kill everyone. Music could get repetitive, and graphics weren't the greatest, but it was definitely a fun experience that I could see myself playing with more enemy types and new attacks/specials. Good job on your first finished jam!
May 2 23:04:11 57h 37m Ollo's Life ♥ 1 I don't have the nostalgia that most people rating this do, so I'll probably have a bit more of critical feedback, but that's the point of LD anyway. To be honest, I didn't enjoy it. The GB controls were unpleasant for me personally, and puzzles were overly difficult in my opinion. The music got repetitive quickly, and the lack of music in houses when there were multiple tracks in the rest of the game. I'm sure if I had other experience with GB games I would enjoy this more, but as it stands I don't really like it all that much.
May 2 23:15:31 11m 20s Super Epic Insurance Fraud 3000 ♥ 1 I loved this even in the couple minutes I played it. It was the kind of game I would totally install on my phone with touch controls to just pick up and play for a few minutes when I got the chance. Graphics weren't made by you, so I can't judge them, but they were well selected for the game. Controls were a bit slow, a higher max run speed would be appreciated alongside some tighter controls. All in all, good job for an LD entry!
May 2 23:43:10 27m 39s Chrominance reloaded ♥ 1 After reading what I should be doing, it was a solid game for 72 hours. Graphics were nice, music was really good, and gameplay was complete enough for a jam entry. Keep it up!
May 2 23:54:27 11m 17s A Life At Stake ♥ 2 A very fun game, super well polished and enjoyable for only 3 days. I would believe (though I am in no way saying that you did) that you made this beforehand and turned it in, it's that good. My favorite game from this LD so far! Hats off to you guys!
May 6 17:20:34 89h 26m The Battle for Slime King on Slime Mountain ♥ 2 SHLD is at the top! Just start with attack at 4 and all others at 2, then beat everything. Really fun game, incredible that you created all of this in 3 days! If this is what you guys do for LD, I'm scared to see what comes out when you spend more time! Great job, keep it up!
May 7 12:19:51 18h 59m Zap Signal ♥ 0 Haven't gotten around to rating yet, but would you be OK with sharing some source code? I'm a C2 dev as well and interested in how the voice recognition would work!
