Everything I wanted to mention is covered in a different post in some way or another. However I do think a checkpoint system would have sealed the deal for me. I like the art style, typically something I would love to create myself; a bit more enemy variation would have been great, it's a bit hard to play at first as it seemed the enemies simply died when thoughing the player.
