Dec 5 15:48:29 Cat Backpack ♥ 0 Liked the graphics. Picked up some items and opened some doors, but ultimately I had no clue what I was supposed to be doing.
Dec 6 00:21:55 8h 33m Don't take my coins ♥ 1 I somehow missed the arrow pointing me in the right direction for half of my first playthrough. Climbing ladders felt quite jarringly slow in a game where all other movement is significantly faster. There was a bit of waiting for the gnomes to come in and for the next coin to spawn. Nice take on the theme. We went for something quite similar as well. As for the complaints about the jump key; I think the keys are good as they are. Overall it was a somewhat entertaining experience. Nicely done.
Dec 6 01:39:06 1h 17m No Name Ninja Game ♥ 1 The spin mechanic was actually really cool even though I didn't really manage to do anything useful with it. I just want to stress how bad the death sound is. Trying to condition the player to do better by causing them physical pain upon failure is maybe taking it a step too far.
Dec 6 02:42:39 1h 03m Tower Snake ♥ 0 This is probably the most work I've ever done to get to play a Ludum Dare game. Used the VICE emulator and played it with a game pad. Game looks great and feels nice. My experience with BASIC as a kid tells me coding a game like this is no simple task. Nicely done.
Dec 9 01:09:34 70h 26m unrogue ♥ 1 Nothing to add really that hasn't been said here in the comments already. Solid entry and thanks for pointing me at Fire & Brimstone. That was excellent as well.
Dec 9 16:55:31 15h 45m Vermin ♥ 1 It felt like a complete experience. The sprites look great, audio fits in well and the music is just cherry on the top. Seeing the humans flee in terror and crashing in to fences was a good laugh. The only gripe I've got with it is that controlling your subjects is sometimes very tricky. Them having a bit of a mind of their own is nice at times, but I swear some times some of them do the opposite of what I want them to do. Perhaps I didn't feed them enough and they are rebelling? I really enjoyed it either way.
Dec 9 17:15:42 20m 11s Delver's Sunset ♥ 1 Thoughts before discovering the game doesn't end after the first set of levels were something along the lines of "well this is very simple and easy". Thoughts nearing the end of my third set of levels were more like "I am frustrated and I don't want to play any more". I am not a huge fan of what I consider frustratingly challenging platformers, but regardless I appreciate how clever this game is. Well done.
Dec 9 17:29:17 13m 35s Silicone Dreams ♥ 0 I did the best I could with the options I was given and only managed to create a monster. I had no idea modeling jobs these days are so focused on the size of one's brow.
