| Dec 4 19:13:09 | Beware the Slime | ♥ 6 | Would go a really long way to add more ways of playing the game, not everyone has controllers! But great job. The graphics are top notch. :) | |
| Dec 4 19:16:13 | 3m 04s | Polyose | ♥ 1 | This is the most literal way to take the theme and it works super well. Love it dude! |
| Dec 5 19:39:22 | 24h 23m | Bobby's awful idea | ♥ 3 | This is really good! Fits the theme perfectly. Love trying to hang up people's phones to try and mitigate the difficulty spikes. I only found one bug, it seemed like sometimes the sound effect for interacting with people and barf wouldn't play sometimes, but overall this is really good! |
| Dec 5 19:42:23 | 3m 01s | Traffic Jammers | ♥ 1 | Wow! That level of polish is stellar! Just the right amount of pop, the music is catchy, the mechanics are simple but very well executed. This is top notch, guys. |
| Dec 5 19:52:09 | 9m 46s | Get all the Wood | ♥ 2 | I loved the art, the message, and just wandering around the serene landscape. The deer is super cute, and I only wish there was more to do. But this is great man! |
| Dec 5 19:59:08 | 6m 59s | The Rubber Robbery | ♥ 1 | This is one of my favorites, for sure. Your sprite animations are simple but clean, your concept is clear, I love the trickiness of trying to bank shots and keep your paths to loot open. You even had that extra prison break sequence, which keeps this from being just another score grabber. The music seemed a bit out of place, but I enjoyed it anyway. |
| Dec 5 20:08:10 | 9m 02s | Rlyeh survivors | ♥ 2 | Arrow keys seem to work perfectly, but even in Firefox only the S and D (down and right) keys work if someone wants to use the WASD control scheme. Hopefully that helps you take a closer look at your bugs. :) All in all though, it's not bad. Your audio can be a bit jarring, and it seemed like it sometimes didn't play when it should. Gameplay is simple, but fun, and the spawn points expanding when a new enemy is about to show up is a smart bit of design. |
| Dec 5 20:27:59 | 19m 49s | Coinminator 2000 | ♥ 2 | Very cool! I couldn't tell what was a bug and what was because I was getting too heavy with the platforming collision (some visual indicators like bridges breaking or something would go a long way there) but the concept is very clean and VERY well executed. Great music, slick controls. Well done! |
| Dec 5 20:42:56 | 14m 57s | placeHolder | ♥ 1 | Loved this. Great example of taking a simple idea and fleshing it out as far as you can. The audio is a bit rough, but it's great otherwise. |
| Dec 5 20:57:16 | 14m 20s | Shifting Dreamscape | ♥ 2 | Hot dang this is well put together. You deserve plenty of kudos. Wonderful gameboy color aesthetic, great mechanic, simple but elegant, and I love games that appear cute and cuddly but hide darker undertones. Keeping this one downloaded on my machine. |
| Dec 5 21:27:31 | 30m 15s | Indoor Haul | ♥ 1 | To do a randomly generated map for a jam - let alone one so big - boggles my mind. This game is pretty incredible for that reason alone. Its fun just to scramble and grab things, and the shopping cart controls feel really good! A sprint button may be helpful when on foot, but I can see where that may break the game a bit. I love the idea of exploring an abandoned mall in real life, and the somewhat spooky tone of the game on top of that is awesome. If you keep working on this project I can see myself definitely buying a more finished version. |
