| Jan 1 15:01:00 | Continental Breakfast | I really enjoyed the writing! It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me hungry. | |
| Jan 1 15:15:00 | 14m 00s | Decider in Chief | Nice work! I really liked the amount of variation in the different branches and endings. |
| Jan 2 18:10:00 | 26h 55m | become a game developer in 60 seconds | Nice implementation of an amusing concept. ^_^ |
| Jan 2 19:38:00 | 1h 28m | MaskGarden | This is great! I really like the environment. I wish I could at least rate this entry in the mood category, because it definitely excels at creating a memorable atmosphere. |
| Jan 2 20:28:00 | 50m 00s | The Regrowth of Layeon | Nice work, Ampera! Seems like you have a really solid foundation here - I'm impressed at how much you were able to get done in such a short time. I like the description of the setting as well. Looking forward to seeing where you take this next.

My only suggestion is that it would be a bit easier to play if you standardize the verbs. For example, instead of requiring players to type "look around" in one area and "inspect" in another to perform a similar type of action, provide a fixed set of commands and keep them consistent. |
| Jan 2 21:03:00 | 35m 00s | No Birds In This Game | Good job! I like the concept, and I thought the presentation was solid as well.

I also really appreciate the lack of birds in this game. Many games will *claim* to be bird-free, but as soon as you get a few hours in and you're thoroughly invested, lo and behold: birds suddenly start to appear EVERYWHERE. It's really a shame, and I'm so thankful for small indie games like this one that can take a different and (dare I say) more personal approach. Kudos to you for having the courage to stand by your convictions rather than simply taking the easy route and pandering to the "all birds all the time" mainstream audience, as most AAA game studios would have done in this situation. |
| Jan 2 21:32:00 | 29m 00s | PlantGrow | I found this really soothing to play. Nice job! |
| Jan 2 21:58:00 | 26m 00s | Comfort Owl | Well, this is delightful. I stumbled onto it randomly, and while I was playing it I remembered that I also played and enjoyed your "HCF" game from Twiny Jam. Quite a contrast in tones between HCF and this, which really demonstrates your versatility as a writer. In both cases, I really like the way you end your stories with explicit questions that prompt the player to consider or imagine additional details on their own. |
| Jan 2 22:38:00 | 40m 00s | Line/Dash | Really fantastic concept. My first thought after grasping the controls was "I wish I had thought of this," and when your game makes other designers feel jealous that's usually a good sign. ;) |
| Jan 2 23:33:00 | 55m 00s | Chicken Spin | So much fun! I love the idea of using the trees as shields if you can't reach the raindrop with your chicken. It makes the game much more exciting, and introduces a nice element of risk. |
| Jan 2 23:47:00 | 14m 00s | Super Keegan | Everything about this is peppy and cheerful in the best way possible. I don't know if it's intentional, but I love that you can still try to play after the "Game Over" text appears. Nothing can stop Super Keegan! |
| Jan 2 23:55:00 | 8m 00s | Care | This is adorable and I think it's a really solid and unique design. Nice work! |
| Jan 3 00:11:00 | 16m 00s | Let's Grow Mr. Bubbo | Educational! Where can I order my Bubbo Boy merch? |
| Jan 3 00:26:00 | 15m 00s | Pikki | I was pretty confused for the entire first section, but I was still thoroughly enjoying the experience. It was fun to just randomly click the buttons while trying to discern what the choices actually did. Once the game moved into a more recognizable context, it was actually slightly less intriguing. I liked the sense of mystery I felt before I figured out what was going on! But it was still fun to see the results: "You're a squid now!" ;) |
| Jan 3 02:27:00 | 2h 01m | Sentient Sewage | Impressive implementation of a unique concept, with some hilarious writing thrown in as a bonus. One of my favorite entries so far! |
| Jan 3 04:15:00 | 1h 48m | Growing Up | The art is gorgeous. The game is decent, but the collision box locations are not intuitive and that made it a frustrating experience at times. |
| Jan 4 04:12:00 | 23h 57m | SWOOP/POOP | Super fun! I always enjoyed doing the bombing runs in games like U.N. Squadron and Sopwith, but this was even more amusing because of the funny theme and the well designed controls. |
| Jan 4 04:44:00 | 32m 00s | Egggs | Strangely hypnotic! |
| Jan 4 05:11:00 | 27m 00s | Enliven | It's a good game, and it definitely has the potential to be a great game with just a little tuning to the mechanics and level design.

Certain aspects of it felt extremely unforgiving to me - the rapid movement of the growing vine combined with the extremely short jump height was especially aggravating. Something about the constant restarting led to a sense of frustration that didn't really fit with the mellow atmosphere of the game. Maybe a checkpoint system would help?

Still, it's a really solid entry and the balance issues are understandable given the time constraints. |
| Jan 4 06:13:00 | 1h 02m | FRUITWOLF | This is one of the best entries I have played when it comes to creating a memorable mood and atmosphere. Loved the ending as well. |
| Jan 4 06:29:00 | 16m 00s | This Little Piggy | This little piggy had fun! |
