| Dec 14 15:24:00 | Falling Aliens | It's not bad for a 48 hour game, and thankfully you coded in the ability of using A and D instead of just the mouse, which makes this so much more playable. | |
| Dec 14 15:31:00 | 7m 00s | SUPER AWESOME MEGA EXTREME flower | Just saying, you left 140MB of debug data in the game folder. |
| Dec 14 16:16:00 | 45m 00s | AvsL | Stupid and earblasting at the start, yet it's funny and it now makes me hate myself (since I'm only one player, I had to play as both of them). ;) |
| Dec 14 19:09:00 | 2h 53m | Sugarcane | A fairly good and simple game, although a bit confusing at first. |
| Dec 14 19:59:00 | 50m 00s | never go back | Can't run this entry, no score until a working link is available. |
| Dec 14 22:31:00 | 2h 32m | Aquatic Growth | At over 2000 points, the score text goes into the Health text. Also, your readme didn't have any actual installation instructions, unlike what the itch page said. That's it, really. |
| Dec 14 22:33:00 | 2m 00s | Novascape | Really fun little thing, and awesome that it's a GB game too! |
| Dec 14 23:03:00 | 30m 00s | In this game, you can not jump | Can't continue at the box level, going left to drop down kills me and the pit is too small to fall in. |
| Dec 14 23:06:00 | 3m 00s | Survive 120 | Could not get this to run at all, using Firefox. Downloaded, opened up HTML file, threw an error at me saying something about Unity being unable to allocate memory. |
| Dec 14 23:08:00 | 2m 00s | HeXor | Error on loading, same issue as matthewd673, Win 8.1. |
| Dec 14 23:11:00 | 3m 00s | Germinate | I think everyone agrees with pjimmy here. |
| Dec 14 23:14:00 | 3m 00s | Gro-Volution | The game felt like it was running at 20-30 FPS the whole time, and there's a lack of sound, but everything else is polished. This could be a good mobile game.

Although the flashing is excessive, it may cause epilepsy. |
| Dec 14 23:18:00 | 4m 00s | qBen | "Meet Ben. Ben is a strong independent cube who don't need no player." "GAME OVER"

Controls are really confusing, but this is extremely innovative as a concept. |
| Dec 14 23:24:00 | 6m 00s | Safe or Sorry | Neat to see a UE4 project, although the text got cut off from the sides because it opened up in windowed 4:3. |
| Dec 14 23:26:00 | 2m 00s | Charlamagne's Sound Train | Neat game, although confusing, but after a minute, it crashed with this error (held Z+X after intro)

___________________________________________
############################################################################################
FATAL ERROR in
action number 1
of Step Event0
for object oPlayer:

Unable to find any instance for object index '100664' name '<undefined>'
at gml_Object_oPlayer_Step_0
############################################################################################ |
| Dec 14 23:30:00 | 4m 00s | Twotris | The blocks themselves are jittery and Tetris doesn't lend itself to a 2 button scheme at all, but this is still pretty good considering I probably couldn't make a Tetris game in 48 hours. |
| Dec 15 01:42:00 | 2h 12m | Space Eater | Easily one of the best games I've played from this jam. |
| Dec 15 01:45:00 | 3m 00s | The Super Bros (that are not Brothers!) | Interesting concept, but it doesn't feel that great and the typos keep getting to me. Like "hit bellow" (below) and below it says to hit R. |
| Dec 15 01:50:00 | 5m 00s | Winterland | Simple and clean, although it's hard to see where you're going in 2560x1080 res. |
| Dec 15 01:53:00 | 3m 00s | Sonar Vision | Pretty clever use of energy and harvest, although it's a bit confusing at first. Also the web version seems to have parts of the intro text going off the screen. |
| Dec 15 02:02:00 | 9m 00s | Lifenodes. | Only way to describe it is as a really quality game. |
| Dec 15 03:09:00 | 1h 07m | TRONZO | Seriously an amazing game this jam. |
| Dec 15 05:06:00 | 1h 57m | Cavern Climber | Interesting, fits the theme, but the controls seem like they came out of a ZX Spectrum. Alas, that's the limit of our theme. |
| Dec 15 05:07:00 | 1m 00s | Abyssal Zone | Sadly, without a Windows binary, you're really limiting your exposure. |
| Dec 15 05:11:00 | 4m 00s | SAAAM | Can I give more than 5 stars? Because holy shit, this is impressive. |
| Dec 15 15:46:00 | 10h 35m | Isoshoot | A very good and solid game, easily one of the better games I've played from this jam. |
| Dec 15 15:58:00 | 12m 00s | Shots Fired | I finally played until I hit a person. Anyway, scope starts off way higher than it's meant to and it's extremely difficult to find out who you're shooting at. Players constantly spawn on top of each other. There's too many people that look way too similar, it would help to have the image of the target be in the bottom right corner. Also, it'd be great if they could move around, for both difficulty and to remove the overlapping issue.

While the idea is solid and simple, it was just not executed well. |
| Dec 15 16:02:00 | 4m 00s | FRUITWOLF | A very solid game, something that could probably be released as a standalone product. |
| Dec 16 14:28:00 | 22h 26m | V BALL | It's not clear that you can hit left and right and the difficulty, in my opinion, rises too fast. Otherwise, the game itself feels quite responsive (even if I personally find the physics weird) and it runs pretty well. |
| Dec 16 14:35:00 | 7m 00s | Tamagotchi Hell | Took me a while to figure out the game and the music started glitching halfway through, but it's all right. |
| Dec 16 14:45:00 | 10m 00s | World Grower - Growth of the civilization | Expanding a house costs the same amount as buying one, however both amounts keep going up. There is appeal here, don't get me wrong, it's just not done as well as I'd have liked. |
| Dec 16 14:54:00 | 9m 00s | Growth Shmup | You left a debugging file in there and the Web link leads to a Windows download.

As for the game itself, it has a lot of promise to it. Making you larger when you hit and making you smaller when you get hit is a clever mechanic, it's just too easy to get hit when you become somewhat large. It's also quite difficult to see yourself amidst both the enemy bullets and your own.

Also, programming tip:
When rendering doubles/floats, render them with this instead of the actual value so it won't have roundoff error (it will still have it internally, it's just not noticeable by the player). It also uses banker's rounding, so a 1.275 renders as 1.28 instead of 1.27.

Math.Round((decimal)d, 2); |
| Dec 17 15:41:00 | 24h 47m | Armageddungeon | Huge potential for a full title, excellent graphics, excellent music, excellent polish, although personally controls didn't feel responsive (although they were well executed) and it was easy to lose the playable character. |
| Dec 17 15:49:00 | 8m 00s | Reactor | Idea is simple, there's a ton of money, but I couldn't buy any cooling or rods after the initial few.

Also, your Russian might be just a little bit broken considering some parts aren't in the right grammatical case or that it states you have multiple reactors when you only have one. |
| Dec 17 15:52:00 | 3m 00s | Give and Take | Awesome game, although I got way too confused playing it. |
| Dec 17 15:57:00 | 5m 00s | Bunny Block | Not a fan of it becoming full screen and making my resolution down to a tiny box on the screen, and not a fan of the use of Nintendo's music, along with it sometimes unfairly immediately killing me (switching a bit earlier than intended sometimes does kill you instantly), but overall it's a simple idea that's solid, although it feels a bit like it's trying too hard to fit in too much into its controls. |
| Dec 17 16:04:00 | 7m 00s | URBO | The concept's there, it just feels too random. Pretty fun though. Sound is top-tier quality.

Also, while the models and animations are amazing, I'm personally not a fan of the tilt shift effect that Urho or Cities: Skylines uses, and I'm not sure why it's even an option. |
| Dec 17 16:07:00 | 3m 00s | Night Radar | Extremely fun game, really unique too! |
| Dec 17 16:11:00 | 4m 00s | InertialGrowth | Controls are a bit too floaty and touchy, but it's a solid addition to the theme and fairly fun overall. However, I only got to about 11 (which was several plays worth) before I gave up. Music's amazing, though, seems like something to come out of EVE. |
| Dec 17 16:13:00 | 2m 00s | Can't Jump | Frustrating, but unique. Nice job. |
| Dec 22 05:24:00 | 109h 11m | blackfisk | While the control positioning is weird, it plays all right, even though the constant pew pew pew is annoying. It's not exactly clear where the enemies are or what's going on, plus I'm not sure what happens when you lose since I didn't seem to take damage, but it's a promising little title that's one of the better games I've played. |
