The pixel art is by far the best thing about the game, highly polished look to it! <br/> <br/>At first I thought the game was broke as I could not jump with spacebar, would really add this in. The movement of the character is really smooth and the turrets too. <br/> <br/>The mechanic is a neat idea, had fun throwing bullets all about the place. It would be great it the turrets exploded, that would be more satisfying. <br/> <br/>I feel you should have limited the slow-mo time, being able to use it constantly made it a little easy. <br/> <br/>Overall a great idea well executed, would make a nice game but never been a fan of too much slow-mo in a game. |

I found a little cheat, if you switch weapons while shining the torch you get the laser and the torch light stays in place to help you. <br/> <br/>I also made a torch game so its great to see other takes on it. I have no idea how you got it so good in such a short space of time. <br/> <br/>The controls are really good and I like the shield mechanic you have. Dragged the shield back and took out two enemies at once, very satisfying. I played on the keyboard but an old NES style usb controller would have been nice to use, I will try out the box controller later. | Apr 25 15:06:00 | 44h 41m | Machine Kiss | Really nice graphics, lots of content and a fully working concept. <br/> <br/>I played through several times, my first I just used all the cards in one go and watched them fight away. <br/> <br/>Second time I actually read what the cards did and tried to be tactical but score worse. <br/> <br/>Third time I selected 4 * "Draw 6 cards" which helped a little as I was able to play more cards. <br/> <br/>While I really enjoyed the game I would have preferred a larger screen size as it was very small, I did not understand how I could draw new cards, also the card descriptions do not show up if you hover over one then move right to another, you have to click else where then re-hover over the next card. <br/> <br/>Great entry though and would actually play an improved version of this for sure. |
