| Aug 25 10:05:00 | Diddy Tingle | One of the few games that worked on my Linux box so far. The graphics look good! But I completed it in 2 minutes. How about more levels? | |
| Aug 25 10:17:00 | 12m 00s | Space Clash | This game look really promising, only I have no idea what to do when I get to the "gem room". I tried the debug mode but even that doesn't seem to help. Could you please give us more instructions? |
| Aug 25 10:25:00 | 8m 00s | WARBLE WORLDS | Interesting concept. Maybe it can be explored further. Is it just my browser or do you have to wait for a second before the character really moves forward? Played this on Linux. |
| Aug 25 11:08:00 | 43m 00s | Oathkeeper | Pretty solid platformer, good job. I managed to get three skills, but I keep accidentally using the teleport skill, so I have to start over again each time. Ran this in Linux. |
| Aug 25 12:30:00 | 1h 22m | Saturation | Very interesting concept! You managed to make the solid block graphics look good. Level 3 was too hard for me, one mistake and you have to go all the way back. Is there a level skip feature? The controls are really two-handed, so I suggest moving the color switch keys to the right (for example, J/K/L) |
| Aug 25 14:23:00 | 1h 53m | Shinyrock | The intro is interesting enough, but what is the goal of the game? |
| Aug 25 14:37:00 | 14m 00s | W4 | Good game. It got me hooked till the end. Only I don't like the controls. I feel I was spending more effort fighting with the controls than actually platforming. |
| Aug 25 22:09:00 | 7h 32m | Connection Lost | Looks promising. However the biggest challenge was getting the recipies, as the text box in which they appear tends to disappear before I could read it. The game works in Linux OpenJDK except for the sound. |
| Aug 26 17:39:00 | 19h 30m | A (dis)connected world... | Yeah! A salami rocket! Did they add too much preservatives? |
| Aug 26 17:54:00 | 15m 00s | Intergalactic Express | Simple but very addicting. I completed it. |
| Aug 26 18:13:00 | 19m 00s | Yonumbo | Fun puzzle game! I didn't get through the large level (that must be level 8?). Some suggestions: colour code the numbers so you can see the patterns more clearly, and make sure you can see all the + and - items at the beginning. |
| Aug 26 18:46:00 | 33m 00s | Connecting LD30 to the Real World | Great to see who's jamming near you! |
| Aug 27 21:32:00 | 26h 46m | Binary System | I've used a very similar concept in my own game, and by now have seen several others. But this one is definitely the one with the best graphics and sound! I prefer using the mouse to control the planets, as that would mean less challenging controls (for me at least) and more room for making the game challenging in other ways. This would also make it more suitable for touch screens. The game ran fine in Linux, thanks for including a Linux port. |
| Aug 27 21:43:00 | 11m 00s | Connected Retro Worlds | Original and well executed. I think it takes a little too long at the beginning before the game gets challenging. |
| Aug 27 22:01:00 | 18m 00s | Four Worlds | Thanks for making this game, you've taken this concept further than most. Maybe you should have a gentler learning curve in the beginning? I never found out why there are texts "you can synchronize the worlds here" that don't seem to do anything. Is that where the players are supposed to wait for each other? |
