| Aug 25 02:31:00 | There, Somewhere | The game started up in Chrome for me, but neither space nor enter would start! Worked in Firefox though.

I liked the possession of people idea, and the length of the game was good. Plays pretty smooth. The block-pushing when there were lots of them was a bit unfair, it seemed to me, because I couldn't even see off the screen to see whether blocks were going to be pushable--I just had to retry a few times. But I beat it! | |
| Aug 25 02:36:00 | 5m 00s | Neon Highway | This was good! I expected a bunch of games with the 'move in all the worlds at once' mechanic, but I thought this twist was clever. The execution is nice, too, with the color and music track tie-ins. I found myself kind of randomly making progress, so maybe I thought it was too easy. Won in 72 seconds! |
| Aug 25 03:04:00 | 28m 00s | Bond | I had fun playing through. The intro was very good, and the platforming provided a little challenge without being tedious. The controls were pretty stiff though, and there are a few bugs (the first time I played through I got stuck in a floor after leaving the first room). I also entered the first cave from the back and then climbed my way down, because I had jumped up to the exit from the top of the boxes, thinking it was the next area? Good character building despite such a short time with them. |
| Aug 25 03:10:00 | 6m 00s | Orbital Kombat | Ha ha, this game is ridiculous. Hilarious take on the theme. I found the controls kind of stiff, but it was still fun. More variety between the "planets" would be an improvement. :) |
| Aug 25 03:22:00 | 12m 00s | InterSection | This is a really neat idea, but I feel stuck in the first section, after going under the red overhang and then eventually coming to a dead-end. Hints? |
| Aug 25 23:38:00 | 20h 16m | Schizophrenia | This is good for a first time! :) Miscellaneous feedback: The difficulty was just right for me, I think, and I beat it in 272.1. The concept has definitely been done before (e.g. "Eversion") but this didn't overstay its welcome. I thought the controls were kind of stiff (no air deceleration?) at first but I appreciated the precision in the last level. The color contrast of the "angry" mood was pretty low. You can still press (or hold) space and shift after you die; why not just have space restart? It's weird that I have to press "escape" to start after launching the game. Thanks for providing arrow-key/shift/space for us old timers! :) |
| Aug 25 23:46:00 | 8m 00s | Above, here and down there | The graphics, wow! Really good. Am I looking at pixel art not scaled 1:1 though? Why not make the screen size exact such that every pixel is the same 1x1, 2x2, 3x3, etc.? I bet it would look even better then.

I had some success moving around and picking stuff up with the gamepad. The controls were a little weird, like exiting dialogue seemed unintuitive, and buggy (I could still interact with stuff after I had picked it up, or after switching to another player?). Is it possible to make progress in the game? I never successfully used an item, but I'd like to. |
| Aug 25 23:56:00 | 10m 00s | Caught Between | Aw man, I have to restart from the beginning every time I die?? The spinning screen made me pretty dizzy, but it was also pretty cool, to flip like that. There was one part where I was trapped in a narrow corridor with enemies that I had to jump on, but if I jumped I'd flip to the other side... I didn't know what to do in that situation (the enemies were lined up with one another so I couldn't just get under one on the ceiling and jump). With a checkpoint system I would have played all the way to the end! |
| Aug 27 00:45:00 | 24h 49m | Impact | The tower graphics are awesome, and I liked the look in general a lot. Pretty bullet dodging, though I felt like my spaceship didn't accelerate quite fast enough for the real bullet hell. Needs damage indicators and some connection to the theme! I beat it (at least, there were no more enemies) with 3500 points. |
| Aug 27 01:04:00 | 19m 00s | Any Moment | Wow, this was really good. I know people will say it's not a "game" or whatever, but I appreciate you doing something experimental and honest, and the production values are excellent (the technicals of voice recording, and the narration, and the little character animations choreographed with the text). Solid. |
| Aug 27 01:13:00 | 9m 00s | Enderman Invasion | Nice graphics! I found it kind of easy; I wish the guys moved faster and that I could hit them from far away -- I felt like most of the time I was just waiting to hit e.g. 13335 and kill the whole wave. |
| Aug 27 01:19:00 | 6m 00s | The Hub | OMG I won! I almost gave up on this one because I pressed every key on my keyboard and button on my mouse to try to pick up the wires -- but then I realized that I hadn't tried a gamepad yet. You might want to mention in the description that it requires gamepad!

Anyway, it's very short, as you know, though I did find it surprisingly satisfying to win after being frustrated trying to pick those up. :) |
| Aug 27 01:27:00 | 8m 00s | yooneetay | I almost gave up on getting into that hat, but it is possible, and I did it! I think I won, since I got 6 soybeans and hung out with the doggie. :) Cute graphics! I feel as a flea I should be able to jump MUCH higher. |
| Aug 27 01:40:00 | 13m 00s | MultiWorlds | I expected to see games like this, but yours shines on the controls and graphical execution, which remind me of geometric Colorforms from my childhood. Thank you for tuning the button sound to the music. I beat it in 4.9 minutes with 61 deaths, but you must be better than me at it because the music ended before I could win. :) |
| Aug 27 02:43:00 | 1h 03m | Chipset-0 | Awesome graphics, as usual! Good variety of stuff to do, and the mechanisms didn't overstay their welcome. I would have enjoyed some secrets (there seemed to be possibility for this, like at the first time you drop down, you can open rotate the platform from the closest plug with a heroic jump from the right wall). |
| Aug 27 02:52:00 | 9m 00s | Grim Gateway | Man, killer graphics and music. Really super. You guys always put together a solid entry. My only complaint about this one is how death sends you back to the very beginning of the game, but I didn't feel like the speed (just crossing the levels feels kinda slow) or precision of the controls warranted it being that cruel -- why not just start the level over?

Is it intentional that you can air jump infinitely? If you do two quick jumps then you're limited to a single air jump, it seems, but if you time them then you can just fly anywhere (it did help me collecting souls...) |
| Aug 27 03:00:00 | 8m 00s | See You Later, Gladiator | I think I understand what I need to do but it sure seems hard (and slow!). I keep getting myself stuck on a wall (because I can't see them), which makes it harder. The camera really spazzes out if I get attacked near a wall. Certainly a very nice looking game, though! |
| Aug 27 03:04:00 | 4m 00s | Galactic Bonding | Cute interpretation of the theme and I actually love the graphics. Obviously the game is very simple. :) First time I played it, I already had the same face as my dad and it wouldn't give me credit nor progress at all? But second time I won with a score of 21. :) |
| Aug 27 12:32:00 | 9h 28m | Gargoyle Abyss | Wow, you weren't kidding about short. :) The graphics are super good, though, and I liked the music too! Only worked in Firefox for me, but very smooth. |
| Aug 27 12:56:00 | 24m 00s | Out Of Place | Phew, I had a tough time beating this one -- I didn't realize that I pretty much always go right and so I kept doing heroic stuff to try to get into the more difficult doors, like the top-left one in the 'tree' level when entering from the right. The platforming in this game is hard because the player moves so fast! But maybe that was the point. Also, I wish it had the option to use arrow keys, for us old people. High points for me are the graphics and the music, especially the switching between worlds music. |
| Aug 28 00:46:00 | 11h 50m | Double Foosball | Hehe! This is a very amusing take on the two-fields-where-you-move-the-same-way motif, which we're seeing a lot of. I did manage to score on the computer once, but I found it really hard... maybe I'm trying to play too much like actual foosball, or maybe the controls are too slow, or maybe I just suck. :) I had fun though! |
| Aug 28 00:55:00 | 9m 00s | Delving | This was a pretty neat idea and the graphics are mysterious and compelling. I made it through the first part (though sometimes my score was surprisingly huge? Like off the screen huge?) and it seemed like I was doing okay, but I always failed to connect with every object, even though I tried for a while. I think there's something I don't get. I think the idea is worth trying, though, and it was weird enough that I enjoyed it even if my score was abysmal. :) |
| Aug 28 02:04:00 | 1h 09m | Parallel Puzzles | Fun! I thought the graphics (though it bothered me that the rightmost column is kind of behind the frame) and music were great, and it wasn't a chore to finish off the board. It was pretty easy, though. Maybe it'd be an improvement to have some kind of hindrance. |
| Aug 28 02:13:00 | 9m 00s | Marbles | Wow, this was pretty disturbing, like a weird art-school movie you watch in a museum. I appreciated that you did something experimental! Top marks for mood. I got all three endings. I felt confused about how to control the "kiss" part, but I found that clicking fast would take me to the "marble" storyline, so that was enough for me. :) |
| Aug 28 02:28:00 | 15m 00s | Just an ordinary day (10UP edition) | [SPOILERS]

Ah! The first time I played this I think I tried every combination of choices, but I'd always die -- (started with the husband, then played as clerk, leaving the coin and expecting the husband to pick it up?). I might not have understood maybe that the game is stateful, or I might have encountered a bug. But the second time through I played as the clerk first and all was well. A neat game with some good humor and graphics. I enjoyed it a lot! |
| Aug 30 02:43:00 | 48h 15m | Interplanetary Harvester | I won! Crafty. This is a well-designed game; I liked how placing and picking up are the same single button and it's just a function of what's on the board beneath you. I didn't see your instructions in the entry, so I had some fun figuring it out myself. I think the clues in the game are enough. FWIW, I felt the first mission was actually the hardest. Scaling the harvest penalty in the later levels would have seemed fair. It would be nice for the game to just tell me how much I'd get from harvesting before I did it, though. |
| Sep 3 03:12:00 | 96h 29m | Cablage | I liked this! The architecture is beautiful, the sound unsettling, and there's something to do. I'm not positive I did it the right way, but I beat it, and it was fun to sneak into the second mechanism the way I did, so, yay. It's super painful to play these mouselook games without being able to invert the y-axis though! I wish that were an option!

Also, you can get into the pillars immediately above where you start. There should be an easter egg in there. :) |
| Sep 3 03:27:00 | 15m 00s | Amphibian | I want to go outsideeeee! :)

The pixel graphics are pretty good, actually. Web versions didn't work for me in Chrome or Firefox (never accepted keys) but the jar was A-OK. |
| Sep 3 03:45:00 | 18m 00s | Super Alien Bro | Oh man, it's so hard! I usually play all the way through LD games, especially platformers, but I'm stuck on level 2 feeling like I keep getting randomly killed, usually by sliding off a platform. I think the core idea is great, the music is awesome, and the level design looks good, I just want a little more control on the ground and variable-height jumps. Maybe I will come back and try again... |
| Sep 4 01:56:00 | 22h 11m | Sender | I liked the graphics the best. The basic idea is good too, though I think some of the roughness makes it too hard in a way that just feels unfair. For example, sometimes the blue monsters that jump pile up in some hole and you can't go down there without taking damage. Sometimes monsters push blocks off ledges in parts of the level you can't even see, and then you can't ever get them back up. Looks like you addressed some of these in the jam version, though. :) Physics around walls seemed a bit odd, and climbing up into the bottom of a block kills you. But, I did enjoy it and tried my hardest to beat level 2 even though it seemed stacked against me! |
