| Dec 17 20:52:00 | SUPERBLADE | Nice graphics, loved the music. Had fun playing! | |
| Dec 17 21:00:00 | 8m 00s | Loops of Fate | Clever game, I had some lag on Firefox.
Some music would have been cool ;'(
Anyway, this is what I want in LD games: a good idea! |
| Dec 17 21:41:00 | 41m 00s | Going Down | 4 stars only... because that game definitely needs a multiplayer game. God that game is so fun! |
| Dec 17 23:08:00 | 1h 27m | One Coffin | The controls are a bit hard to get but it's still fun |
| Dec 18 19:07:00 | 19h 59m | Lost Gems | Overall, congratulations for the work.
Even if the concept is really simple but is quite well implemented.
As I said, I had some fun playing your game but something bothered me. It is really hard but, in my opinion, not in a good way (I love really hard games).
There is a real issue with the collisions with trees. I was always thinking my character will be able to move between two trees and then bump right into one of them...
That gave me an awful feeling of unfairness.
In addition, that feeling is accentuated by flying enemies. Every single enemy is flying and, de facto, not affected by this tree issue.
Anyway, graphics are pretty cool (except the black background) and random generation works really well.
Music would have been great but who can make everything in 48h ? |
| Dec 20 14:10:00 | 43h 03m | Button"Space" | It looks like you didn't have time to implement all the level you wanted... I'm not so sure how far you could go with this concept. |
| Dec 20 14:19:00 | 9m 00s | One Pesky Yellow Orb | Tried hard but haven't catch the orb! The game is laggy unfortunately... |
| Dec 23 12:54:00 | 70h 35m | El Tigre Il Assassino | The game needs a ZQSD or arrows option. Other than that the mood is great, and the gameplay simple but super effective! |
| Dec 23 13:12:00 | 18m 00s | One Arrow | The graphics are really polished and nice, but the score system isn't that interesting, and the difficulty quiet low... I was bored pretty quickly. If you made the difficulty and the score grow faster, it would make the game more entertaining I think! Great job anyway! |
| Dec 23 13:23:00 | 11m 00s | YOGO RocketFist | Great entry! I'll try to finish the game when I'm back home! |
| Dec 23 13:32:00 | 9m 00s | Rude Bear Resurrection | The concept is just too freaking cool, I'll play it this week and give it some time before rating it. But wow, this looks crazy. |
| Dec 23 14:04:00 | 32m 00s | The Visitor | Loved it, I wanted the story to go on... :) |
| Dec 23 16:59:00 | 2h 55m | A Precious Arrow | I definitely want to beat this game, it is just gorgeous! |
| Dec 28 10:36:00 | 113h 37m | One Strike | Reminds me a lot of the mechanics of Samurai Shodown, only way more minimalist! Love a good duel game.
I think you could have add depth without giving up on the simplicity though.
As an animator, I would have tried a more subtile take on the "waiting" phase of the samurai's animation, maybe just one pose, completely still, some wind in the clothes, and just a bit of animated background to add tension.
When I lost again myself (I suppose I was the samurai who slaughtered my village)I didn't have the motivation to start all over again, you could have make every warrior defeated a checkpoint.
Hope to see your work for the next LD! |
| Dec 28 12:19:00 | 1h 43m | LITH | These daleks are scary :3 The atmosphere is great and the red light is a nice gamedesign touch.
The controls need to be improved.
I didn't play the game too long because I have not been hooked by the universe in which it is set. A simple mechanic like this one could use a bit of background story and a higher goal than just "collect gold". |
| Dec 28 12:26:00 | 7m 00s | Road To Zion | Looks more like a video-clip than a game to me, but the graphics and sounddesign are great. |
| Dec 29 21:01:00 | 32h 35m | Pete, The Petard | Nice game, kept me interested until the end. I like how even the guards armed with bows walk while sleeping. ^^
It could use some music though, and maybe a bit of backstory? I wanted to know more about Pete! |
| Dec 29 21:12:00 | 11m 00s | Only one light | Really really nice game : the music and art are great and super cute, and the gameplay is simple but enjoyable.:)
However, I think the scoring/speedrun aspect of the game doesn't fit the poetic experience you decided to offer. |
| Dec 29 22:45:00 | 1h 33m | PUSH | Best entry I've played so far.
No amazing graphics, but those two sprites animations work incredibly well, and the dust FX add a lot to the experience.
The music was excellent (I'll have it in mind for the next two days) and the sound design was just great.
As for the core mechanic and the theme interpretation, at first I was like "hmmm... you only get one push? Meh, the puzzle will be awfully simplistic" and then I struggled to beat the 20 levels and had to restart a hundred times! I was wondering how you could polish such level design in only three days! Congrats!
The select screen and the ending add a lot too, I loved it! |
| Dec 29 23:17:00 | 32m 00s | You Are The One | I liked it, a bit too frustrating, but not that much.
I still can't figure out what the character is supposed to be, but that's fine, he'll be a robot-backward-ninja in my heart. :)
I had some issues with the controls (some undesired restarts) but I was mostly impressed with the use of the mouse for a platformer! |
| Dec 29 23:25:00 | 8m 00s | Captain Spacebeard in: The Centauri Run | I see the potential of the different weapons, but it needs a stronger level design I think. Maybe in a post-compo version of the game? :) |
