| Dec 16 16:24:00 | 1 Minute Capsule | A simple but fun mechanic. I do a fondness for physics based games. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add more levels because I finished it quite quickly. But you've got the structure for a great game - well done! | |
| Dec 16 16:29:00 | 5m 00s | Ballkeeper | Very nice, well done. You should work on getting this up and running on mobile - would be cool to see how a touch interface would feel. Smart choice to use WebGL! |
| Dec 16 16:30:00 | 1m 00s | HUNGRY Self-Eating Centipede | I love me some hot centipede action! |
| Dec 16 17:13:00 | 43m 00s | Seven Eagles, One Lantern | I like this a lot. Any game that frustrates to the point of wanting to quit and then think 'I'm clearly being stupid' and persevere must be doing something right! I got all o' them eagles! I like some of the techniques you used when rendering: nearest filtering and you actually clip the eagles to the light sphere. Super cool. :) |
| Dec 16 17:19:00 | 6m 00s | The One Time Dungeon | Ah, one of my favourite Ludum Darers. It's the first 2D game I've seen you do. Drawing all of those sprites must have taken a long time! Well done! |
| Dec 16 17:27:00 | 8m 00s | Defusement of the Pyong | Cool, uber-retro! I defused the bomb!! Great use of WebGL. BTW, if you like making WebGL games, check out PlayCanvas (I used it for my game). |
| Dec 16 17:33:00 | 6m 00s | SinglShot | This is a really original take on the theme. Well done! Would have loved some audio - do you know about http://www.bfxr.net/. It's a really quick way to get audio FX that would suit this game very well. Great use of WebGL. Are you using Empscripten to port C++ code? |
| Dec 16 17:40:00 | 7m 00s | Pointless Game! | Great first try at making a web game. I should check Dart out some time soon. Seems to be getting popular. The 3D menu is good. Music works well - what did you use to compose it? I need to find better audio tools! :) |
| Dec 16 17:45:00 | 5m 00s | Last Minute Christmas Chopping | A nicely polished game. Hard to gauge depth and I would have lurved to hear a Christmassy jingle in the background. Otherwise, a merry old time was had playing this baby. :) |
| Dec 16 17:57:00 | 12m 00s | Going Around | DaredevilDave waves his game dev wand once more and brings a little magic into our lives. This is the awesomest game you've made EVAH. |
| Dec 16 18:04:00 | 7m 00s | Save Yourself | This is really, really good. You're really onto something with the mechanic here. It's very difficult right from the get go, but once you understand what's going on, it's really fun. Congratulations on a very original idea and please do continue to develop it! :) |
| Dec 16 18:07:00 | 3m 00s | Elm Webgl Flight Sim | I hadn't heard of Elm before - interesting. Definitely right to choose WebGL. Do continue to develop this idea - looks promising! |
| Dec 16 18:44:00 | 37m 00s | Charitable Donation | Awesome. Simulated charity is even more fun than real charity! |
| Dec 16 19:15:00 | 31m 00s | One gun only | There's something deeply satisfying about be chased down by a hoard of rabid cubes. Cool, I like it! By the way, if you like making FPSs for the web, check out PlayCanvas (I built my LD game with it). Hope you get time to work on your game some more - it's fun! |
| Dec 16 22:51:00 | 3h 36m | Pixelfall | Well done for showing how a client-server design can really lift a game. Great idea. It's inspired me to add a server component to my next LD game. Nice clean art style. I scored this really high for innovation. Hurrah! |
| Dec 16 22:58:00 | 7m 00s | Ursa Miner | The link appears to be down... :( |
| Dec 16 23:07:00 | 9m 00s | Migration | The audio was really nice! Well done on that!! <br/>Nice idea - the 'how far can you travel' concept is similar to my game. Good choice to go with HTML5. Well done on a fun but hard game! :) |
| Dec 16 23:14:00 | 7m 00s | Infinite Fame | I completed your game! Hurrah! This is what it must feel like to be Luke Skywalker. Great art style. Hangs together really well. Wish it was a bit longer though - but that's a good thing! :) |
| Dec 16 23:20:00 | 6m 00s | You Get One: Crappy Torch | Good game! Interesting mechanic - lovely use of light and shadow. I think you can make a really atmospheric top down survival horror game like this - just add creepy audio. :) Well done! |
| Dec 17 00:31:00 | 1h 11m | The Bridge | For a first try, you've done a great job!! I got my other half to play this with me - it's fun! I like the lighting - nice and atmospheric. <br/>Maybe post-competition, try add a single player mode and program a CPU AI. <br/>Well done! |
| Dec 17 01:57:00 | 1h 26m | The Day the Laughter Stopped | What an amazing talent you have. Thank you for the game. |
| Dec 17 23:15:00 | 21h 18m | Equals 1 | Nice to see a decent puzzler! And an interesting use of WebGL too! Well done. :) |
| Dec 18 00:00:00 | 45m 00s | License to One | This was cool. RTS is my favourite genre. I destroyed 10 enemy units. Is it possible to 'win'? Impressive achievement for the time. <br/>@mize_VS_mildmojo If you find it hard to be productive with HTML5/WebGL, check out PlayCanvas (I used it for my game). It essentially like Google Docs for making WebGL games. |
| Dec 18 00:13:00 | 13m 00s | Concert Crashers | Such detail in the pixel art! It was quite hard to see what was going on - but quite hypnotic overall. Music is great. <br/>I'm finding it hard to figure out what to do actually. I can cycle through the characters, and one can get in (who has the ticket), but the other two get caught. I'm feeling a bit stupid. :) Hint? |
| Dec 21 00:05:00 | 71h 52m | You Only Get One Shot | I think the art style is great. 3 hours? OK, so it's not perfect but what an achievement for such a short time. If you spend the whole weekend on your next LD entry, it'll be spectacular. :) |
| Dec 21 11:01:00 | 10h 56m | Sophie's World | Good solid effort in pretty much all categories. One suggestion I have is to add some cute sound effects. e.g. When a raindrop falls on the rock, you hear a hiss and an 'aaaahhhhhhh' sound. Things like that show kids that the rock is hot. Well done. |
| Dec 21 11:22:00 | 21m 00s | Shades of One | Very good entry indeed. I particularly liked the visuals. The water and the darkening of the background to show the player character. And the physics worked well too. I might have made it slightly less floaty (higher gravity), but then that kind of went well with the ethereal feel of the game. Congrats. :) |
| Dec 22 21:33:00 | 34h 11m | Ludum Simulator 3000 | Hilarious. Best game I've played so far. Absolutely genius. The game I made in the Simulator is better than my game! :o) |
| Dec 22 21:45:00 | 12m 00s | You Only Get Won | Nice entry. I kept failing on the strength test level so an immediate retry key would be good. Once you've read the game over screen, you don't read it again and you have to wait for the fade in/out. Music was really good! Well done. :) |
| Dec 22 21:58:00 | 13m 00s | Jameson The Pilot | A classy entry from a pro. Well done! |
| Dec 23 11:55:00 | 13h 57m | Loot of the Forest | Solid well-rounded entry. I didn't quite get the connection between the items in the inventory and the different characters so I ended up just using a trial and error strategy, and planning a route which would hit the fewest blockers. More levels would be cool. Well done. :) |
| Dec 23 12:14:00 | 19m 00s | VELOCITRON | Really great. I think the audio is the star here with the graphics a close second. Slickly executed. I suspect this will place very highly indeed! Well done. :o) I agree with the comment about the cube grid at the end - wasn't sure whether I was supposed to avoid or collide. |
