Dec 16 11:44:00 Last Minute Christmas Chopping I liked that you tried an interesting perspective and an ambitious genre, so gave 5's in innovation, humor and mood (Christmas!). The weakest parts were the audio and theme (3's) but overall it was good and fun (4's) :) While the time spent on the effects is very cute, I think additional gameplay mechanics should have been introduced instead to make it more fun, such as up-down for speed, upgrades, or better score/point rewards. It'd be nice to have some background ambient sound/music, even if just blowing/whistling in a mike to represent cold wind. Great for entering :)
Dec 16 11:49:00 5m 00s Tankdare Awesome! I love the random level generation and 1-hit kill mechanic, makes it very challenging. Lighting and turrets are superb :)
Dec 16 12:44:00 55m 00s The Wizardry of Differentiation Extremely good entry - I can't believe you managed to implement such complex mechanics in such little time. The spell combining is very cool in the later levels, great job!
Dec 16 12:51:00 7m 00s Destroy The Core This is very tough, but extremely good; well polished with fantastic audio/text, the tutorial is nice at the start but you should be able to skip it and go directly into the ship after dying. Amazing work! 5/5/5/4/5/5/5/5
Dec 16 13:09:00 18m 00s P.O.W. Rescue The graphics are great. Maybe spend more time on the platforming/logic/levels next time, but good entry! :)
Dec 16 17:55:00 4h 46m Sweat Marathon Great use of theme, great use of haxeflixel, especially like the main character animation :)
Dec 16 18:09:00 14m 00s The Last Planet Love the intro, audio, and the art is fantastic, especially when in motion. C++/SFML -> .exe makes it a little less portable, try to compile with emscripten? Maybe make enemy spawning a bit more predictable. 5/5/4/5/5/5/5/5 Great!
Dec 16 18:19:00 10m 00s You Only Get One Chance to Impress your Girlfriend with a Game You Made Really cute little entry, hope she liked it :)
Dec 16 18:39:00 20m 00s What The Sock Yes! Best use of theme ever :D 5/5/5/5/5/5/5/5
Dec 16 19:48:00 1h 09m Medieval Combat Really innovative real-time strategy genre, especially with the formation mechanics; lots of potential here. Great work!
Dec 16 19:51:00 3m 00s No Drag in Space I love 2D space games. This was fun with pretty visuals :) Great work!
Dec 17 08:19:00 12h 28m Thrust Issues Great work, at first I just held space but later after taking it slower it got easier. Fun to play :)
Dec 17 08:25:00 6m 00s A Rose in the Rain Very simple but effective, not sure why a wet rose made me feel sorry for the guy, but it worked.
Dec 17 08:33:00 8m 00s Escape from Aleonia! Really lovely graphics, audio and gameplay. Great entry! :)
Dec 17 08:42:00 9m 00s Nature's Howl Great work on the art and audio, and very innovative genre.
Dec 17 08:50:00 8m 00s Blue Harpoon I especially loved the spear: 1 shot, 1 death - awesome!! 5's for overall, innovation, fun, graphics, audio.
Dec 17 08:57:00 7m 00s You Only Get One Shot Really great for 3 hours, and that you learnt unity with it too - excellent job for persevering! :)
Dec 17 08:58:00 1m 00s Ursa Miner I couldn't resist the blocks when I saw this in the screenshots :D I love the simple art style, runs fine on my laptop. Excellent work!
Dec 17 09:12:00 14m 00s Santa Claws This is stunningly beautiful: graphics = extremely talented to do all this in such short time!! As its unity, try to release a webplayer version. Amazing job.
Dec 17 09:33:00 21m 00s Virtual Sniper Trials Yeah this is very fun, and the facing worlds nostalgia tops it :D
Dec 17 09:35:00 2m 00s Pilot's Last Stand Fantastic voice overs, and the gameplay was great too -Excellent work!
Dec 17 09:57:00 22m 00s One Minute To War Got up to level 23 before dying; I enjoyed trying to read the numbers through the text - I liked how if you shake the sheets the numbers stand out (intentional?) :)
Dec 17 10:16:00 19m 00s Jump Chip This is beautiful and fun, I especially like the grain and particles on the end platforms. The background theme was fantastic too, loved it!
Dec 17 17:32:00 7h 16m A.D. 2101 Stunning pixel art. I'd prefer nearest-neighbor rather than bilinear for pixel art, very retro-audio that I liked. Maybe next time get a more solid platforming base, but I appreciate how hard this is. Great work!
Dec 17 17:49:00 17m 00s Medieval Fantasy Island I liked the audio and postprocessing, however the gameplay is not innovative. Next time I would encourage you to put your skill/time into something more simple and fun (and less ambitious), rather than emulating a MMO in 72 hours; just polish one basic gameplay mechanic first then layer complexity if you have time. However this was a good exercise to practice an ambitious genre :)
Dec 17 18:19:00 30m 00s Leap of Faith The two endings are so sad, I tried to press Left and Right :( Excellent game.
Dec 17 18:27:00 8m 00s Club Man Great work on the low poly graphics and animation :)
Dec 17 18:32:00 5m 00s Humanity's Last Hope You got the beginning of a great space shooter here, so a post-compo release with upgrades will be awesome; I would try and get more consistency in the graphics - don't mix pseudo 3D asteroid with 2D cutout art. The controls are great and responsive and the starfield is lovely. Great coding!
Dec 17 18:43:00 11m 00s You Only Get One Limb Exceptional use of theme and physics (especially ropes), with stunning art direction - full marks, fantastic!
Dec 17 19:28:00 45m 00s clic only This is very good; simple mechanic well polished into a great game - excellent!
Dec 20 10:29:00 63h 01m Loop Desert Really fun little puzzle, very innovative, full marks! :D
Dec 20 10:41:00 12m 00s Berathen Jam Impressive amount of work for such a short time :)
Jan 5 14:21:00 387h 40m Doubt Great use of haxe! :D
Jan 5 15:05:00 44m 00s Uno Terra Awesome work, loved the polish and music. Good balance of multiple complex mechanics.
