Apr 29 16:36:00 Beyond Minimalism Interesting... unlike theomnis, I did find the trees, though not as I expected. The first time, I went through a couple of rooms until I reached a red cube of death, which (presumably) killed me and sent me back to the start. I then repeated the route, fell off of the edge (possibly a bug?) and reached the trees. Actually, it was a shame I couldn't explore more of the trees, I quite liked that area. <br/> <br/>On to the game, it was quite innovative and fun, and I felt it approached the theme pretty well. The only issue I had with it was that it seemed a bit lacking in what I could do - I would have liked more than going down a path and coming back.
Apr 29 16:51:00 15m 00s X0RQUE Enjoyed the game, but I didn't quite get how cargo corresponded to station - it doesn't look to be 1:1, although I may be wrong. It would have been nice to see the station grow/shrink or something as an indicator - I definitely agree with the infinity aspect though.
Apr 29 16:55:00 4m 00s Zrist There's only one issue with this game - on the Unity web player, it doesn't show anything other than the start screen, or the retry screen when I inevitably die. This may just be with my computer, but the other Unity web entries that I've used have run fine, so it's more likely an issue with this.
Apr 29 17:01:00 6m 00s Protect! Well, it worked for me (and on a Mac) - you should really update this so that there's links to the same file for Mac OS X and Linux, as HTML *is* cross-platform. If anything, I actually found the game too slow, and I would have preferred it to have started faster.
Apr 29 17:18:00 17m 00s The Minimalizer Quite good, although I was quite upset when I got to the '4, 8, You Win' bit as a couldn't max out all of the weapons 10 points - it was a *bit* short.
Apr 29 18:36:00 1h 18m Budget Squad Really liked it, but thanks to the 'you only have one searchlight' I keep on dying around 6500 points :P
Apr 29 18:47:00 11m 00s Antarctic Skirmish Great game :) Is there any reason that my penguins didn't seem to be attacking very fast (compared to the enemy) or is that just me being bad at the game?
Apr 29 18:52:00 5m 00s 28 Pixels Really nice game, loved your take on Minimalism :) My only issue was it took me a few goes to work out what to do, but after that it was a great game :)
Apr 29 20:20:00 1h 28m RPG Absolutely loved this game - I literally just played it for the last couple of hours :) The only bug I found was that against a couple of much stronger enemies (relative to me), I managed to heal them with magic - my damage was negative :P Still, that's probably the result of using harmful magic on the undead.
Apr 30 16:43:00 20h 23m Steam-Cube Quite good, but there were issues with spikes and hitboxes - I could die just trying to get to the end of a platform. Also, the text from one level temporarily popped up on the level before (a sort of flash, if you will).
Apr 30 19:53:00 3h 10m Minimalism Textual Adventure Quite interesting, and I liked the story, but I didn't really see many options - as far as I could see, most of the time there was only 1 option, although this could have been me not scrolling down enough.
May 1 16:16:00 20h 23m Tinge Really liked it, although after a while (15 mins, maybe?) I started to get a bit bored of collecting red dots :)
May 1 16:20:00 4m 00s M as in Miner Interesting, although the entire interface, etc. was very confusing and it took me 5 mins to work it out :) Other than that, not that bad a game.
May 1 16:47:00 27m 00s Trapped in Minimalism Absolutely loved it, and the plot twist (which, for the sake of spoilers, I won't name) was really good. Actually reminded me a bit of FTL, and one of the best games I've seen so far :)
May 1 17:04:00 17m 00s Mystic Door - by The Mystic Souslik Team Quite a nice game, although I would have liked something to tell me the objective (other than open the door - was there something you had to get, for example). Also, the jumping was a bit jerky - I would have preferred smooth jumping (by using acceleration, presumably).
May 1 17:17:00 13m 00s Speed Square! Same as what cinnamonmelonpig said: I could open it, but beyond that, I couldn't control anything. If it helps, I tried both the Java 6 &amp; 7 ones, with a Mac, Firefox and Java 7.something.
May 1 17:23:00 6m 00s Battle Box Quite interesting, and there were interesting rules, but I found the actual gameplay a bit tedious - I guess it's part of the needing two players thing. Also, it might be more interesting if you can't see the other player's hand.
May 1 19:21:00 1h 58m MATAR! Really amusing, wish there was more :)
May 1 19:25:00 4m 00s Hiddensquares Quite good, although I was *really* confused by the puzzle...
May 1 19:52:00 27m 00s Persist An amazing game, and an interesting spin on Minimalism :) My only issue was with how hard the final level was, although I managed to complete it in the end... after a few hours :P
May 1 20:29:00 37m 00s Complexity Really nice game, make more :)
May 2 16:12:00 19h 43m Bladeless Quite a nice little game, although sometimes my character didn't attack after a successful block - I'll presume I missed something in the instructions :) I also agree with a gentler difficulty curve - the game is *unbelievably* hard at first :P
May 2 16:20:00 8m 00s Velocibox Really nice game, but really hard as well :) Well done, definitely one of the best games I've played so far.
May 2 18:10:00 1h 50m Lack of Civilization Quite good, although I couldn't find anything after I got the plant - was that it?
May 2 18:28:00 18m 00s Bipolar I liked this a lot, although I did have a bit of an issue with lag. It wasn't my computer (AFAIK), unless there's an issue with Unity Web Player and Macs... any idea why this may not be working?
May 2 18:32:00 4m 00s MiniClone Quite nice and simple (unlike some other games here) but it was a bit short - it would have been nice if there was some simple level system (maybe extra ships/quicker ships?)
May 2 18:42:00 10m 00s The Quest for Minimalism A great idea, and a great take on Minimalism. My only issue was that it was quite easy, but that's not that much of an issue.
May 2 18:50:00 8m 00s OktumBoktum - A minimal adventure of a boy and his crazy pet Really nice game, although I feel it would be easier on Android - this game feels like it's lending itself towards a two-finger playstyle.
May 3 16:37:00 21h 47m MagnoMonster Quite a nice game, and I really liked the low poly-count hearts - for whatever reason, it reminded me of Ocarina of Time from the Legend of Zelda series :) My only issue was the animations when you got a heart or died, they seemed a bit out of place.
May 4 10:58:00 18h 21m Potato Dungeon Literally the best game I've ever played in a Ludum Dare :) Seriously, it's got an unbelievable amount of polish, a bit of a storyline, and a really interesting game mechanic. My only issue was, if anything, that it was too short - please, please make a Post-Compo version with loads more (and saving) - I'd quite happily pay for it if it was on Steam (or equivalent)!
May 4 11:12:00 14m 00s Balls Balls Balls Pretty good, although those white balls will be the end of me :)
May 4 11:49:00 37m 00s CHAMELEON RUN Really nice, but at high speeds it got a bit jerky :) Oh, highscore: 690
May 4 12:11:00 22m 00s Tulip Really nice game, and it definitely gets hard as you go on! 39.56s
May 4 12:30:00 19m 00s Minimalism Tower Defence Nice take on tower defense :) The only issue was working out what tower did what, but after that it was great :)
