Thanks for the feedback everyone. I agree it would be better with sound, but I ran out of time and I'm not the best with sound design anyways. I'm gonna work on my art and sound and hope to be more competitive next LD.
BTW the game does get more difficult every 1000 points up to 10k points, but it doesn't get really hard until 9k.
Loved the audio. The game was a little easy though, I won with almost 300 health.
I glitched and got stuck in a wall, but besides the spotty collision detection it was pretty fun. There were enough different mechanics introduced to keep it interesting.
With it being so easy to die, it would have been nice to have checkpoints, or at least a way to skip the intro (I couldn't find one). I did like the riddles though.
