My first game went quickly because I was unclear those bars were health bars. It is a bit weird to have both score and health, but then health is really the only one that matters.

The starting state was also a bit weak and doesn't really match the feel of the later game: it is some random poops flying around on obvious physics springs, not the rolling pile of shit we get later.

Still, I'm glad I stuck around. Having two massive piles of shit devouring the whole town was surprisingly fun and funny.

Yeah, no time to tighten the controls and no time to add sound. We bit off a bit too much with this and ended up cutting a lot of stuff at the end, but it came out ok. Thanks! We hope to clean it up a bit more soon.

Solid game execution. Gfx, sound, mechanics, and theme come together well. I particularly liked the difficulty variances: more blood makes targets harder to spot and shorter snake makes it easier to dodge blasts. I did find the addition of the side laser too sudden the first time.

My only complaint was that the energy trading mechanic was not intuitive at first and the game did little to explain how it worked. Once I got it (after screaming a bunch at a poor bird) the rest made sense and the puzzle design was interesting.
Great art and mood. Making a whole flock of birds cry by shouting at them did make me feel monstrous.
