Some good ideas in there, but I often found games end up in a long, drawn out stalemate, before I could finish my opponent off. I think this game could use some feedback loops, maybe your rhythm meter could fill faster, the more territory you control? As it is, there doesn't seem to be much of a point in expanding.
Definitely one of the most fun games I've played this LD. I especially liked the art and humor. My only riticism would be that the JRPG parts weren't really noticeable since the whole game was to fast to really pay attention to the numbers anyway.
Really nice concept! The 2D and the 3D environments both look amazing and they integrate very well. Although I'm a bit sad that there is no sound. The right music would really help with the mood.
I actually got lucky on my first try and reached 4450! Never managed to get close to that again. Great concept and nice art. Aside from the missing music, my only complaint would be that the decisions seem a bit random. Or maybe I just missed the pattern behind them?
