I really enjoyed a lot of it and I think that you should expand on this idea going into the future.
Some suggestions though, I would make the map that you have already travelled into stay discovered but slightly greyed out like a traditional RTS but I really liked the idea here and I think it has a lot of potential!
Would've been good if the bow had ammo as I found myself mostly using that instead of the sword once I got it because there was no consequence to it but it gave me a massive advantage as it was ranged.

Fun game, solid movement and shooting.
Would recommend maybe making the gold pickups a bit more easy to recognise at first I wasn't sure if they would damage me or not. :)
