@onedozenbagels I did also notice this when playing through it myself. I also used the plots at the bottom - I realize the use of click-and-drag controls made using the further ones much more of a chore. Thanks so much for the feedback!

@sulfur-cretin @honeyhop sound is certainly something we plan on if we continue to develop this concept - we would have liked to include it for the Jam, but ran out of time. Thank you for your feedback!

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-03T23:50:15Z

The gameplay meshes with the theme really well! This is really fun to play, and the style, humor and setting are all very charming. Definitely one of my favorites so far!

It is a little tricky to figure out exactly what I need to do or where I need to go at times, but I see a lot of potential in this project from what I could figure out while playing it. The music and visuals as well as the actual setting mesh well to create a cozy and slightly whimsical atmosphere. Using the theme to activate an event every 10 seconds instead of making the events occur for 10 seconds is also a great way to balance the gameplay for the player and gives you a bit more flexibility with the events themselves. Thanks for sharing your talents with the jam!

I really enjoy the concept here, and I really enjoy the graphics. The environment feels very comfortable overall. I did feel a little frustrated with the controls for a few brief moments, largely due to the characters having a delay in when they stop walking if you stop pressing a key to move, and getting around corners was a little wonky if I was close to them, but I didn't encounter any issues. I do think between 4 characters the 10-second switch was a bit disorienting, though I got the hang of it the longer I played and had each character to the center of the maze in about 13 minutes. Great work overall! [Screenshot 2022-10-03 160652.jpg](///raw/8da/21/z/51977.jpg)

Hey Can You Play...? by Scoodi 2022-10-03T23:28:43Z

I do agree with CrimOudin about scaling the difficulty a bit; starting a little easier or maybe giving a few tutorial runs with no timer on and then making it progressively more difficult or just activating the timer after a couple rounds. The rotation of the dials felt inconsistent and was the most challenging part of the experience in my opinion. It was satisfying when I succeeded and got to hear the music play, but it only happened a few times due to my struggles with the controls. Aside from that it has a lot of promise. The visual style is appealing (though I would mind that some of the text in the tutorial screen is difficult to read) and the mood for the in-game setting is there; it has charm, and can be greatly improved with just a few small tweaks.
