super super enjoyable <333 what a lovely game to play at the end of a very long week. i loved how this game was put together with a lot of care (the little thump sound the bee makes when hitting a platform, the double dash mechanic as others have pointed out, the fact you can change trajectory mid-flight, the pleasant soundtrack) -- all of it coupled into such a smooth and relaxing experience. thanks so much for sharing <3
i absolutely adore this game!!! i was initially drawn in by the art (which is lovely) and the tea premise (which is creative af), but the gameplay was super fun to get the hang of, and i will definitely be returning to play. i love playing as little monkeys collaborating together to pick up the tea leaves. the music was also a banger and enhanced my experience even more. overall, i really really enjoyed this and is definitely one of my favorite games in the jam. thanks so much for sharing <3
echoing everyone else's comments -- incredibly fun and well-executed, especially given how simple the game looks at a glance. the pixel art is really charming, and i found the music so enjoyable as well. i really love games like this that take a very straightforward concept and turn it into something that's truly addicting and fun to come back to. i will definitely be returning to play. thanks so much for sharing! <3
such a fun and charming game!!!! really loved the music and the jiggling sound effect of the little guy you got to play as. definitely will return to playing once i recover from the trauma of falling (i still have ptsd from jump king).
