The style and the idea are nice, congrats! To relieve some frustration, it may be nice not to reset the level, but to have some intermediate automatic save points.
After the first level, I'm not sure to feel the theme of limited space, but I had fun nonetheless.
Really nice gameplay, I enjoyed it very much! Congrats on achieving this solo! It takes a couple of runs to understand which upgrade is the most important, which is cool :)
One nitpick: I sometimes clicked too quickly and the screen to choose the upgrade popped, closing immediately as my cursor chose something (but I was in the mindset of clicking on the enemies, not choosing the upgrade). Maybe a button to validate when the upgrade is chosen would mitigate this?
The graphics are really nice, it's really polished! The gameplay is simple to understand and feels natural, congrats! I was overpowered at around 1100, I wonder what would be the highest score feasible 😁
Having different objectives would be a motivation for replaying the game multiple times.
