I liked the little people and the basic concept was pretty interesting and funny, but I felt like I was moving so slowly even while running, plus the saw was always right on top of me. Maybe try making it 3rd person instead of 1st-person view so you can see when the saw is behind you, and make it all faster.
I agree with deathray regarding third person perspective; that would make it easier to see if the saw was trailing you and how close. It was sometimes difficult to get the saw off of you once it was on you. Being able to push it off with SPACE would be nice. I liked how the music went downtempo when you approached the saw.
