Very stylish, amazing job! For some reason of macOS I always keep playing in the small square even after pressing the fullscreen button. But I've managed to play somehow :)
It was very cute! But every time i died felt like a jumpscare then i couldn't leave the house and my character was stuck :(
The old tech atmosphere is really well done. A few more interactive elements would make it even better. Also was scared af when randomly die XD

Good art. Especially love the walking robots.
The text is often hard to read, bringing it to the top layer and some outline would be great. Had a bug after being rammed by the walking robot - when I left the house after respawning, girl has just disappeared.

Nice game, the graphics are really good. The bad guy kind of gave himself away though before I even interacted with them - "muahaha now I'm invincible" is an easy clue that I should probably walk right past them and straight to my uncle haha. Ran into a couple bugs, one I think is the one you mentioned in the description, with the other I was at some point able to get extra scraps, dunno if that was by design though.
