Great design and simple gameplay. Maybe some audio can add some atmosphere here.
Really cool premise! Flipping the script and playing as a rogue self-aware AI trying to break out into the internet while balancing CPU and RAM is such a fun concept. The resource management under pressure feels frantic and engaging. Left full ratings across all categories! If you have a minute later to check out more jam projects, we’d love if you took a look at our game Meow Bomb as well. Best of luck with the jam!
I wish I don't have to focus input after every command. I've probably missed a little a story behind. Overall it is quite challenging and fun! Great entry
@sanechekz yeah, I have bug with a command line focus. I made the game in 24 hours (not compo), so I’ll polish it after the jam. Thank for feedback!
An intriguing and interesting concept, but here’s what’s keeping me from enjoying it right now:
1. Too many commands to learn right from the start, making them impossible to remember. 2. The terminal output doesn't scroll, so the HELP command isn't very helpful. 3. The terminal keeps losing focus. 4. There's no command history in the terminal input. 5. The timers are very short and constantly put pressure on you. 6. Pressing R doesn't restart the game, and the only way to quit is Alt+F4.
The gameplay feels a bit repetitive.
