An incredible achievement for a team where four out of five members were tackling their very first game jam! The French-speaking village setting combined with ancient tech mysteries creates a wonderfully immersive and unique atmosphere. Navigating the story with ZQSD controls and a simple touchpad makes jumping into the adventure super easy and fun. Huge congratulations to the whole team on crafting such a charming and polished Godot entry!

Many, MANY years ago, I took French in High School. I remember very little of the language. But I thought it would be fun to see how far I could get trying my best to read what I could. I ... understood only a handful of words, and the occasional full sentence, yet somehow stumbled my way to the end! 😆

Cute game. I really liked the sprites, they're full of character and I love the way they're colored in. I can tell the game was made by first time Jammers, as there were many rough edges, but I still had a good time with it. There are many tricks you pick up the more you make small games like this! The premise was neat, too.

I thought the magnetism mechanic and fire spreading mechanics were super interesting, and although the fire spread wasn't really needed, using the magnets was fun. Definitely didn't expect mechanics like this in a this style of game.

Good job! It was fun, even with the language barrier!

@t-c @nuclme Thank you so much ^^ I'm glad you enjoyed :) Yep there were a lot of small quality of life improvements that we could have try to do if we had more time ^^' But I'm still proud of what we achieved !!

The art and imagery is absolutely beautiful! I seek out these kinds of games in the game jams. Great work!

It was a privilege to stroll through such a charismatic drawn world. Though I do not understand French just walking through the town was enjoyable. With a magnet, because picking it up was my only achievement in this quest.

The idea to use portraits for characters was clever and effective as well. I would be interested in playing through again if there was a translation (a big ask, I know) and a bit of QOL improvements, like the dialogue space button that is glitching me into an infinite loop unless I hold it short enough. Anyway, congrats on publishing and I'm looking forward to seeing more of such imaginative games from you!

There’s a slightly unsettling, eerie vibe to these animal designs that reminds me of *Rusty Lake*—truly a brilliant piece of design work.
