The truck's hitbox doesn't look really precise (it's a point probably?) and the lack of diagonal moves was awkward sometimes, but that's a good start, reminds me of an old Windows-XP-themed game where you also control the trash can.
Took me a while to make this game work in wsl on windows, but I was so happy when I finally managed. The player speed is quite high, which is challenging, but with a bit of practice it is still doable to clear the level:

I like the idea and it matches the theme.👍 A bit more polish and less abstract levels would have been great, but hey, it's a good start 😊
I have just updated the game .zip, with executables for linux, macos (m1) and windows.
The new version also contains fixes for the movement (now the truck can move diagonally too), the exit opens only after all items are collected, and the items are attracted by the garbage truck, when it is close to them.
