I had to end early as I won't be able to participate tomorrow during the day, but I am still very satisfied with the end result.
The frog is entirely made using vertex (No sprites were used)

I liked it. I got quite good at hitting those little bugs at a distance. Movement is a nice effect, but it is painfully slow. Shame you had to finish early, I would have liked to have seen how you'd flesh things out. I had fun regardless though. Good stuff π±

πΈ Fun adventure with a frog! The controls are a bit slow, but when you speed up and catch bugs from a distance, it's a lot of fun! The visual style using vertices is simply amazing, and the rain adds to the atmosphere. π§οΈ The game already looks great. π

What is the red border that just extends when I walk through it?
Oh my god, is it your own written mini-engine?! Good job! And you did something like joins 2D to connect lags
This isn't my own Engine, I used Processing 4, and I believe what I did is called Inverse Kinematics although it is a simple version of it :p @megurt
The red Border doesn't extend, you simply go back. I had to limit the movement of the player since going into the negatives on the X or Y axis would mess with the Rain's display algorithm. @umnatz
The game is easy to understand and extremely fun! I never thought the game would be so interesting before playing! Good job!!!

You didn't lie - this is a game about frog, indeed! Loved the simplicity and whole flow.
I was a little concerned about the controls but they were a lot smoother and more intuitive than I was expecting. My only gripe is the lack of an aiming indicator to help you line up your mlems - but then I think that might have been on purpose? The minimalism is honestly refreshing; the rain effects and music combined make this a joy to play even without shooting for a high score.

The falling rain effect is really hypnotising and the movement is really satisfying to be honest! A surprisingly great entry!
