Overall quite the enjoyable game. The trickster had the best design but admittedly its luck based trial was a bit dull, the rhyming one was fun, it was enjoyable to use context clues to find the answer, and the riddles trial was really enjoyable and my favorite of the three. Cute story and very well made, great work!
A charming little game for sure. The trickster was frustrating as it seemed to be completely luck based, unless I missed something. Still, the art came out alright for how much time you had to work with. It was sometimes hard to tell when I was in a "cutscene" and when the game was waiting for me to input something, and some of the scenes went on for a little long, particularly when the guardian faded into view, although the "very finished" art scenes at the end moved a little fast to read all of it, still gave me a good chuckle though. Definitely needs some more polish, but I see what you were going for and it came out alright, well done.
@wraithind Thank you! The trickster isn't luck based. Although it does make me glad to see that it wasn't as obvious as I thought it was. One trickster didn't have bells on it's "ears" while the others did. So the one without was the real trickster. I do wish I had more time on the game overall because yes, I did want to fix the timing on all those scenes but I can say I really worked on this to the last minute! lol I submitted with 3 min left so not much else I could have gotten done. I appreciate the feedback and hopefully I can make a more polished game in the future Ludum Dare's that isn't super short.
