Couple of technical issues: The Ludum Dare embed is broken (site is missing the features Cross Origin Isolation and SharedArrayBuffer aparently). The Itch.io page doesn't have an embed despite being tagged as such, but I think you just need to check the box saying to embed it next to the zip upload spot. And lastly you Godot build is labeled as a debug build, so I think something went wrong with the project export.

As for the game itself, it is definitely an interesting crafting simulator. Without a goal, it seems interesting more than fun. I like the ideas behind most of the recipes and steps (nuke excluded) but some the ingredients need a little refining. It seems weird to keep a pile of anvils in your drawer and use one per spell, perhaps you could use an iron nail or a horseshoe. Maybe for some of the more magical ingredients, especially the soul essence, you could craft them with a ritual, then use the ones you crafted in more advanced rituals. Some sort of progression, or at least unlocking, would give the player more motivation to play.

I appreciate the keyboard shortcuts, with my only controls suggestion being to make the book lower with any input instead of just space.

Overall its interesting, immersive, and very atmospheric!

A bit bland gameplay, but nice idea, ambientation is also fitting. The recipesand steps are fun and entertaining

Love the art style, very inscryption vibe. A lot of text to read so was a bit of a turn down for me but liked the idea of a ritual to complete

Nice art style, couldn't get it to work, and a lot of instructions. But seems like it could be fun if it was a bit simpler, and ramped up a bit.

I really enjoyed this, with the whole inscription vibe and summoning of different objects. It feels like you nailed the crafting and summoning part well. I haz cheesburger now. The shortcuts added in the book was helpful as you switched between things and the "order" in the book and made the gameplay more enjoyable.

Awesome game! There aren't a lot of gameplay, but it's fun to mess around and the art style, audio and atmosphere are all really great! Love that there are no UI elements, everything is just a physical object! Well done!

I never thought I'd play a game that was just crafting and have fun with it. Such a cool concept that embodies the theme so well! It does feel like it needs something else, like a purpose for the summoning, but even on its own I was surprisingly entertained. I wish more games would do their crafting systems like this, as a sort of minigame.

That was great. Lovely atmosphere. The art style works really well. I summoned everything though the singing gave me a bit of trouble. It felt to go back and forth from the book to check the next part of the longer rituals. Shame there is no goal other than go through the recipes.

The atmosphere is very cool everything really fits together well. I Could use a bit more prompting on the controls. I was accidently ending with space a lot.

This was alright to play around with! It could use a framing narrative or a tangible goal, but obviously there's only so much you can do in 72 hours. As far as sandboxes go, this fit the theme nicely and still had atmosphere to it. And I could summon a cheeseburger, so that's nice!
