Interesting concept, pretty fun, projectiles kind of big, dash is a bit jank (it just kinda teleports you?), and also theres like little to no attack cooldown so you can just go to the enemy and spam them to death lol
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD54 → Panic Color!

@erroneous yes there isn't cooldown and the dash is a teleport this is because the game is very frenetic!
Nice game, I like the concept.
It's frenetic and cool to play !
Simple but fun little game! It tried with keyboard first but I couldn't get my head around the controls, it works nicely on controller tho. I whish I could aim with right stick. Good job!
Nice concept, i struggled at first on the controls but once the description readed, I had fun !
That was a really cool game. It was fast paced and I found the concept to be pretty interesting. I used the keyboard and I found that the controls worked very well.
Nice entry. The controls got some getting used to but they work well. Maybe it's easier on a gamepad. I like how the attacks bounce off the walls. Maybe a bit more feedback when hit or destroying an enemy would the help the player register what is happening. Like a screen shake or knockback.
Nice concept. The better controls would be nice
@stalemeat I added the shake effect!! :D
Cool game, controls were a bit hard but i had fun. good work!
I am absolutely terrible at this game! :D So far my best record is 24.
The controls take a while to get used to. Once that happens, I think it becomes slightly easier. At first my biggest problems were running directly into enemy fire, then running into my own reflected shots. When I realized I could defend against projectiles by firing my own, it became much easier. The dash works pretty well, I think, as I'm just too slow to use it at the right time most of the times.
One thing that felt slightly weird to me is the unlimited fire rate. I don't think it is a huge problem, and for me it was really helpful in actually destroying anything, but what makes it weird to use is the fact that my projectiles collide with each other, so if I fired too quickly, all my projectiles were instantly destroyed.
Very interesting concept! Wish the enemies could move slower at the beginning then fast to give players some time to figure out the control and the pace.
Even if this game's difficult as balls, I'll still give it a 5.
Not my type of game, but liked the feel and sound :-)
Nice game but a bit rude. Very hard for people just starting.
Keyboard controls make the game a bit harder than it should be imo, maybe you could try having one button that cycles through the available colors and move with the arrows instead, I think using X C SPACE and arrows would feel more natural and easier to manage or just swapping WASD with ARROWS as movement is the more crucial control here I'd like to use my right hand to do it. I can see how the layout would work better with gamepad which is probably how you played and tested it mostly I assume.
The non-stop loud music is distracting and feels like the music and sound effects are fighting each other for attention. A bit reduced volume and stopping and relaunching the music at a random point on game over and restart would make it feel more immersive. In general, some less "in-your-face" and more suspenseful music would complement the gameplay better I think.
I liked the presentation and the overall idea of matching the attacks with the enemies.
