Really need to buff health regen, reduce miniboss/boss attack speed/add attack patterns so you don't need to tank them to win. Make enemies not spawn on top of you, refine picking up items/souls, hold left click to attack etc. otherwise is a good start to a game

I thought it was a really good start to a cool idea for a game, but it does feel very unfair at times.

Like the graphics style and combat but it may need some balancing.
Gameplay was fun but there was an extreme lack of polish. Enemies spawning on top of eachother, moving inconsistently, keys working for any door despite being color coded.

Yeah theres defo alot of unfairness. Going to continue working on it outside the GameJam, had alot of fun with it. Going work on solving the AI first, far too many issues.
