Nice little digging game. I liked the way you pulled yourself up with a grappling hook. My game ended when I thought I made short enough steps in my cave, but didn't and I could not get up anymore.
Enjoyable game, even in spite of how simple it is. I am always a sucker for this kind of progression where you slowly make your way further into an unknown while getting upgrades. A few points of concern: I noticed that, when I gave diamonds to the truck, the game crashed. It is also pretty easy to softlock yourself if you do not dig in a way that allows you to hook your way back up, which can be frustrating if you make just one error in judgement when determining where to dig next. I could not tell how the upgrade system worked; I was able to upgrade both my drill and fuel tank twice after exchanging just one or two loads of minerals, but it did not cost any money, and I couldn't seem to upgrade my drill or fuel tank any further after that.
I tried my best to find an optimal strategy to get as far down as I could and see if there was an end, but I ended up losing all of my fuel at depth 651. :disappointed: There comes a point where it is too tedious and fuel inefficient to continue digging downwards and climbing back up, so I am very interested in hearing if there is an end at a certain depth, or if there are any features that I missed.
Nice work overall. This could be a fun project to see be expanded.
@tpcool @boclow I appreciate the reviews, I know its not much but yeah I have been expanding the game and will continue to expand the game until I get the game on mobile. I have definitely fixed the eye glaring bugs you both ran into already, you got to love time crunch :laughing:, I would appreciate it if you gave the game another try since I reworked a bunch of stuff. I have a lot of things planned out already!
