Hi there ! Quick tip, you should fade your particles more over time (In unity for example, use size/color over lifetime curves) for better looks ! Also, I had issues seeing the dark energy at first, maybe try to tune up the contrast a bit (Or add an outline or something, that would be perfect).
Omg I got a rate! Thanks @beardmage for the comment! This has been my 1st game ever made and I've been learning particles for only a few days. I'll check those out. Regarding the darkness, some of my friends said the same thing, it's good to have more comments/feedback to better my pursuit of game design.
Particles are great ! You'll love tweaking those more and more as you learn new things haha. Fortunately there are many videos on youtube about VFX in general :D
@beardmage yeah! I've only handled them now because I had to render/compile, I thought it would be too plain if I didnt use any shader/lighting effects. I've only been learning basic mechanics since March this year(when I started). I never knew the capabilities of the built-in stuff on Unity yet, I mostly thought published used hard-coded shaders

I liked the idea and the mechanics. You can narrow the distance from the circle to the center of the person and slightly increase the speed of the fall. The graphics are very nice. You can make the shape of the particles clearer, because I personally do not always understand where they begin. On my monitor, the image is dark, you should add contrast. Check your monitor settings. Perhaps because of the settings, it shows a brighter picture than most other users.gjghj.jpg
@shumarie hmmmm, did it start that dark? i kinda made it intentionally dark for whenever you're close to losing, the area darkens, but didnt know it's that dark, making it kinda hard to see, although play-testers pointed out that they cannot see the particles, so I made the particles have lighter glow on the dark particles so they can atleast protect themselves.
I dont know if its ok to still alter the uploaded game thats why I havent addressed the dark particles on the uploaded version. Ill see what I can do with the distance, but i purposely made it that far because I wanted the feeling/emotion of helplessness.
Thanks for the feedback! I highly appreciate your inputs about the game, maybe someday I'll get to upload a better version of this game somewhere (possibly mobile) and I'll look back to everyones input.
