Really like the pixel art graphics but the gameplay is too simple even for a jam

Really like the pixel art graphics but the gameplay is too simple even for a jam
Zip files are not compatible with the itch desktop app (Used to download files in sandbox and more secure). Itch has a tool called butler that will automatically publish your game builds to itch in a way that is compatible with the desktop app and direct download. I recommend it.
Graphics are cool. Would have liked to see more mechanical integration with the theme rather than just describing in words what is happening. Let me play this story instead of reading it.
Great graphics! Interesting mechanic. I'm not sure what my goal is though. And it seems like there should be something to avoid as well..
Thanks for the comments. The game is actually missing 2 core mechanics that I could simply not do in time, but it was very important to me to publish something and not bail out of the jam. I plan to finish the project and I hope you'll be able to give the game a second chance when it is done.
