Interesting realization. But locations are too big and seems empty.

Interesting realization. But locations are too big and seems empty.
Very cute main character! It took me a while to realize I had a wall jump since it isn't mentioned in the tutorial. I thought I was stuck at one point until I randomly discovered it. I'm also not sure if I beat the game or not. I got to a black screen so I'm assuming that's just where it ends.
the base for a potentially super fun game :) there's a cute main character and the digging combined with platforming elements works surprisingly well. sort of reminds me of shovel knight. enemies were a bit confusing because i wasn't sure if they were going to harm me at first. (also, there's a bug where you can walk off the left side of the map in the beginning) overall, the concept seems pretty ambitious but it was a nice jam game!
I like this game, it makes me nostalgic for DOS games. The character animations and sounds are really good. I like the wall jumps and level transitions a lot too
I like how you made the characters, and how the dig animation is done  The music is catchy and simple enough for in the background  I did not really figure out what the clock objects do, but they are fun to collect. I had to fail lots of times before I figured out that walljumping is a thing in your game  Only feedback I have is that the controls could have been diffrent. Maybe give the player some alternatives. My first instinct would be "up" for jump, and "down" for digging. And "Enter" for starting the game
never judge by the cover. This game is amazing. my nerves could not stand such difficulties.
@wouter52 I'm glad you enjoyed it! We have future plans on tying the clocks to some sort of hidden lore behind it. There are reverse clocks which has you start from the last checkpoint so be wary of those! And yeah, I believe we had to (I said "we" because this LDJam account is a company-run account) make the wall jump discoverable by players, which is why it's not in the "controls" screen. I'm glad you like it!

@dudelesha I agree with the phrase "never judge a book by it's cover" and this is my first time participating in a team project where we had to put together a workable game in 72 hours. Like you said, never judge a book by its cover. Or in this case, never judge a game by its cover!
