Funny sound effects. Game was a bit confusing as when you shoot there are no visual effects so I thought I was actually drilling instead of shooting :)

@slingshot thanks for the feedback, I agree the sound effects and art in general are a highlight. A lot of things had to be cut sadly, including final polish. Thanks for the feedback :)

Great first project! The dangerous and threatening atmosphere of the deep sea really came through. I also like the 3D models, they look quite nice. I do wish it was easier to tell if you are moving down, it looked like I wasn't moving at all but my Depth rating was climbing. Same for firing, I couldn't see the shots but I could see my Ammo going down.

I think that the hole isn't really polish and it isn't nice to look at. I don't have the felling that I am moving and I was shooting but the red thing didn't die. I am really confused my bad  !But the sound effects are fun!

I find that the submarine is a bit hard to control and I couldn't figure out how to get more ammo, so I think a tutorial would have been nice to have. I do like the sound effects and the 3D models a lot. Great job on finishing the game!

So, I think the big problem here was the lack of feedback in terms of whether my shots were going through or in terms of player movement. It made it a difficult game to play and experience because the core loop was off.

The feel of the game, beyond that, was good. The art is nice (the 3D modelling is quite impressive for a game jam). The deep hole was quite intimidating and overbearing, the sense of scale and power clearly established. Just, overall, it felt quite intense.

The sound design was nice, but without visuals to support it didn't really work.

Solid attempt, and I would love to play a post-LD version that keeps the concept and polishes up the core gameplay.

Also, you really did well on the theme. Not a particularly unique take, but a well-done take.

Great entry as your first game jam! as was said visual effects could help understand the shooting part but generally its a good game!

Very good Idea for the kind of gameplay you've made. The movement got me a bit dizzy to play more, but the sounds and audio where good :)

hahahaha! I love these sound effects. But i didn't see any enemies' attack coming so I died in a weird way. Actually I thought my magazine was empty when shooting(the sound effect is like I'm keeping pulling the trigger from an empty magazine). It will be better if I could see the bullets or laser come out of my vehicle I suppose.

Tried it up and it was a bit confusing, I didn't understand well what to do

Great game for your first project, i put more time into this than Cyberpunk.

Cool concept! I think the controls could be simplified a bit, for example rolling the submarine doesn't seem that useful.
