This was a really fun Point and click adventure! loved the art style and the sounds and music fit the game quite well. Nicely done!

@bredera Thank you! Really glad you liked the atmosphere overall!

Music - the rolling background audio definitely sets a wonderful tone. The audio sfx match the on screen actions (vhs, etc) in a way that I rather liked. The GUI sfx of course were excellent feedback to know that I was still accurately interacting with the game.

I like that items that cannot interact with eachother still have gui prompts, asking you to check if they can interact. It would have been easier to just cut that out and prevent any gui prompt if one wasnt possible but, including that adds to the sense of exploration.

I did not get beyond crafting potions, so I can't speak to anything after that point, but everything up to there was great.

The notes, along with the bloody rooms etc, definitely helped to keep me in a state of unease.

Superb work!

@popdaddygames It was me watching the stream, hahah! Really glad u liked the GUI, the sfx and the atmosphere overall! (my friend did the art & I did the programming/audio). Yeah, I'll try to add some feedback when 2 items don't interact w each other, good point. Also gonna add in more annotations/tips in a future update. Once again, thanks a lot for playing/reviewing it!

Wow this looks like a dense game. I went into the shack and clicking on the sink caused my game to freeze (i'm on macOS if that matters)... The fuzzy aesthetic is kind of fun, although it wasn't very clear to my why it got brighter and darker and it probably could have been toned down a bit. Also, why did I have to wait longer for stuff to happen due to "health reasons"? I swear I wasn't poking around the dead body.

Having a few descriptions for what things are when you mouse over them (the various herbs, etc.) would be helpful as I didn't know what half the things were or what they might be used for (this game might have been to smart for me). Luckily I finally figured out that I could combine three different items to make a light source and head down into the basement. Very spooky! Lots of great environmental story-telling!

Game was a pretty solid submission. I didn't really know what i was doing, i feel that maybe some descriptions of what items did or their properties would have helped give me a direction to go
