This is a very nice looking idea. The one major piece of feedback I'd give is to scale down the user/enlarge the view port because as the game progresses, you won't be able to see your own orbiting allies real quick! Really love the orbits by the way, they're really neat!
Animations are nice and smooth. With more polished graphics and sounds, and more complexity, it could be quite nice!
I like the concept of the lone star chasing for planets.
The graphics are quite disorientating, but the music is nice and adds to the atmosphere.
yeah the bgm cornfield from interstellar is a good choice and fit in the game theme really well. good job
I like the idea of the game, zooming through space absorbing mass in order to grow. Some similarities with Slither.io but cosmic and by yourself instead.
However, the real gameplay seems to be missing a little. I'm zoomed in so close that I don't have much decision-making to do except right at the start when there's nothing orbiting me yet. Once that has happened, I mostly pick up asteroids that are off-screen and I was just left traveling in one direction with the game going "ding!" every few seconds.
I did finish the game, but I felt like it had very little to do with my actions. All in all, I see how the theme applies and I think there's something here conceptually, I just wish there was more to *play.*
Feels nice flying around. I agree with @mad-brokli, a zoom out as you level would be awesome.
