I like your dark mood / lighting. I also liked that you had music in there but I'm not sure if it fit the darkness. I'd also say that moving around in the dark was super disorienting. I think perhaps getting some more unique environmental landmarks / textures would have helped with that. Overall, good stuff!
@norris-eldridge Agreed on both counts. I've never really composed any music before and found it challenging just to create something I didn't hate. I would have loved to add more interesting stuff out in the world, but ran short on time.

This is a cool concept for something that could be a horror game! With a little bit of plot and like norris said, a couple more textures, I could see it all coming together for a really nice spooky atmosphere. I'd play it if you expanded it :) One thing I noticed though is each power source gives you 10,000, and I think you may have meant for them to give 1,000?
I like that you went for spooky, to coincide with the October month that this jam was done during. It also is a great fit for the theme, since you start with so close to nothing that you have to fetch your own power. I like the oddity of the floating physics boxes combined with the spooky music. I also like that you put a beacon over the goal. That was a seriously good idea.
I waited the game out to see if there were any consequences to failing to grab the power cubes, and was a little disappointed because nothing seemed to happen, however the spookiness of the ambiance combined with the odd music kept me intrigued nonetheless. Maybe if this game was shorter by a "day", I would have enjoyed this more. It felt perfect at three in-game days.
Going from the description, it sounds like there's a lot going on behind the scenes than shows in the game itself, specifically in music generation and world generation.
I actually want to peck at this one a bit, as there seems to be more music than the game itself seems to include. This looks like a really interesting puzzle box of code.
