Annotation 2019-10-06 095839.png so this is weird. maybe I just Dont know GML all that well, but this IF statement was giving me some trouble. in the screenshot you can see its checking the distance to two different objects. if the player is less than 100 away, he is safe and spookiness doesnt increase. however, if you reverse that statement to say if the player is greater than 100 away spookiness increases, it only does for the first object listed. :shrug: probably some order of operations thing or something?
You not need to reverse statement, cause your statemant is a right ones.
