This is a cute idea and a neat art style! :) I like the concept of trying to find the water sources and replenishing your health, though I died on my first couple of attempts because I just kind of assumed that the guy who was watering me was also replenishing my health, even though that wasn't the case.
The sunlight accumulation probably could have been a little faster, I found myself waiting for long periods of time, with my mouse on a water source not doing much else, but I stuck around because despite all of that, it was fun getting the plant to grow and see what it would turn into next. :) Well done!
