I think the idea is there but this does need some polishing i think. I pushed the spacebar like a lunatic but i did not see or hear anything happen to tell me if i was actually attacking a small thing like that would already help a lot in here. Also especially if you start your game full screen please add a way to exit it without me having to use alt-f4. For a first game jam good attempt definitely keep at it
Congratulations on completing your first game jam! It's not easy. Well done! The game is a bit basic. The thing I missed the most though was the lack of feedback. I didn't really notice any impact when attacking enemies so I had a hard time figuring out how to improve my strategy when playing. But it's well done for a first attempt!
