I liked it but I got a lot of colision bugs that prevented me to play at times, also I liked how when you die you see where the first enemy goes.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD44 → A.R.S.E.

I did not understand anything ! if someone explain to me the game?
Everything got a lot easier once I found the shift key.
The mood/art is really, really good. An impressive amount of images for the introduction, was the developer THAT slow that you have nothing else to do? :P
It was a good experience!
Some good ideas (death-rays, kill-cam) and visuals (intro, skybox, aliens), but I think the theme was a bit to abstracted.
@mimusangel Hey! hahaha yeah, that is very understandable as the concept we build this game off was quite complex for our experience and timeslot. So basically the idea is that aliens took over the world and you 'found' an amulet with which you can mreincarnate into something else. In order to reincarnate or morf you do however need coins. If you are seen by enemies they kill you and the main objective is to get to the spaceship of the aliens and hijack it. Hopefully this gives some clarity?
@xahell Thank you! Hahahahahaha, no that's not the case XD. What happened I think is that I got caught up too much in the animatic for the intro, trying to get the backstory clear instead of focussing on the level design itself. Besides that, the developer @jjackpack only had around 1 full day to code the whole thing while I had 2 full days of time to create the art and mess with shading. :-)
I enjoyed trying to explore while looking for shelter from the aliens but not sure if there is supposed to be an end screen of some sort because I made it to the spaceship but nothing seemed to happen. Of course the start animation type of thing gave some nice background on what had happened. Overall nice work!
@miroreflect Thanks man, great to hear you enjoyed exploring! There is supposed to be an end screen :D when you enter the spaceship(open the darker part with 'E') you can enter the spaceship and do the same in front of the alter, by doin this you will offically complete the game. Hope this helps
Had to know what I missed, played it again and wasn't disappointed with the ending xD
