Cool Game! I really like the bit style. Also level 6 is easy but level 8 is too hard.

@nitropictures @team-on @nova31 Thanks for playing guys. Don't forget to leave some ratings :)
A simple and clear art style. Good job.
Nice little game. There are some frustrating levels in there, but I stuck with it till the end. Good concept put together well.
I enjoyed it a lot! Took me a while to figure out I should be using the empty bottle to test throw, but it worked out in the end :D well done
@saladon ah! so that's what they're for
I think the story was cute, and the game was okay. Hope you get well soon from your unexpected illness.
Really fun game, passed all levels. Loved the graphics so much!!
@theviraldragon, @dignz, @raska, @saladon, Thanks for your feedback :)
@kuro, thanks for care, I'm almost fine now and I'm glad you liked the story ^^
Overall: Fun game, with a mix of puzzle solving and platforming. Good difficutly.
Fun: It's fun! I wish it was longer! The main schtick of potion throwing is good. Took me embarrassingly long to realise what you gave us potion #1 for... after that the game was much less frustrating :p. My only complaint about the gameplay is that Erdanon gets a bit floaty around the edge of a platform - this caused me to often miss jumps.
Innovation: Sure, making a puzzle out of the throwing potions mechanic is clever, and works well.
Theme: Yes
Graphics: The cutscene art is very nice! I guess I feel that the ground and sky tiles don't live up to the rest of the art.
Audio: A bit bare-bones.
Humor: Good - I enjoyed the cutscenes! P.S. was this guy losing blood for fifty years??
Mood: Alright, would have been helped by some music.
Made me laugh when he turned into a skeleton. Would say a bit more control on the spells( where they land ) so it doesn't feel so random would be good.

@reheated Thanks for your huge comment. I'm crappy at making music so sorry for that. And yeah when Erdanon have been experimenting with potions for 50 years, he lost some blood, but it wasn't so intense like in his last journey. Thanks for playing.
@johnnysix Glad you liked the skeleton, I came up with this like hour before publishing. And yeah, precise throwing would be super useful, but it would ruin my level design. Thanks for playing.
This game is pretty fun. One thing I've always found important with puzzle games that have failure states is that it's good to have a fast means of getting back to the game play. Very good call on adding a reset button. The first potion does a good job of helping predict the impact location of the other potions. Short of having a projectile arc tracer on screen while holding the button, this is a pretty elegant way to cut down the frustration of missed shots.
This is a very solid foundation for a puzzle platform game. A good bit of humor mixed in there as well. Perhaps Erdanon should've focused on stopping the bleeding and using conventional means of travel rather than bleeding his way through his quest. What a tragic story. Don't mess with the dark arts!
I would love to see more stages and potions.
Good job, and I hope you're feeling better after being ill!
@vinay-rao Thanks for playing and for kind words. :)
Nice! One of the first platformer games I've seen this Ludum Dare. Really glad, I've found it. It' a really great game! I love the concept behind it. It's one of the most innovative platformer games I've seen on a Ludum Dare. Besides the gameplay, I actually really enjoyed the artstyle. The walking and dying animations are hilarious and it's one of the first games that has a walking sound, that is not annoying. The sound effects fit the style well and the cutscenes are really funny. Extra points in humor for that cry button at the end!
The only minor thing that could use a bit of polishing, is the jumping mechanic. Sometimes I thought that I've jumped, but sadly I was walking from an edge in the same frame. A simple timer which allows the player to jump maybe for 0.1 seconds after walking from a ledge, would work wonders. I had the exact same problem with our game and just finished implementing this simple timer in our postjam version. If I had thought about that for the Jam version, people would've enjoyed our gameplay much more.
All in all: Very nicely done! Innovative platformer with a lot of potential!
@awesomealliterationalliance Thanks for playing :) And actually not bad idea with that 0.1 sec, I'll try to remember it for future.
