This game is very rough around the edges:
- You can conserve and even raise the amount of all animalks without going banktrupt - The UI elements are partially off-screen. - There seems to be no end.
I wish you luck in further game development, and next time try balancing you game a little more.
@caspercaper17 Thanks for your feedback. :) I am aware of the UI issues, I'm working on fixing that. Generally you can't raise, or even conserve the number of animals without going bankrupt, however the amount of money you need to spend on each is randomised, so it is possible that you just got lucky. The idea was that the end is when you go bankrupt. Otherwise, it is simply when all the species are extinct/ saved. I am aware that it's not the most polished game, but hey, it's Ludum dare. That's the point :)

Nice job! I think the biggest issue I had with the game was the UI being partially offscreen but it sounds like you are addressing that.
Looking forward to your next submission!
Interesting idea! :) I like that you went a different route with the sacrifice theme rather than some of the more obvious choices. As others have mentioned already, the game seems a bit bugged on WebGL in that I can't hit the down arrows on the bottom 3 icons. I've run into this issue before, looks like you're building to one resolution and setting the viewport window in itch.io to a different resolution. Going to Edit->Project Settings->Player in Unity should get you to where you can change the resolution you build to for HTML5. Then make sure your viewport in itch.io is identical and you should be good to go!
Also, I request photos of the foster kitten :cat:
