I think I saw this game posted while I was doing the ludum dare. Now that I see it I wanted to play it. The game is exactly achieves the theme "Sacrifices must be made" perfectly. I didn't play to the end because I got stuck some times and I'm running out of time. Even so it's so fun and frustating to not be able to keep going because your dead is there. The art is simple but awesome, I love the effect the player has when moving. However I don't like the music is a little too short. I'm not a musician too but at least I'm trying to achieve 1 minute songs. Between the two songs the intro was a lot worse and that wanted me to skip it.

Even so, I give you around 4 starts because is the first game I play which uses the theme perfectly. Also next time try to upload a cover image to ludum dare to recognise it

Pretty fun game, uses the theme very well, the controls are a bit stiff though. Also I think it's probably best to only make a few good levels instead of making this many levels for a gamejam. The fact that the different areas have different colors is a nice touch.

I got to the part with the lasers where most of the challenge just comes from regular platforming instead of the central mechanic, while I feel the challenge of the game should be more related to the puzzle solving with the death mechanic.
