Small and tidy concept and really good use of the theme. Biggest problem however is that there is nothing stopping me from just spamming space bar to win every round
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD42 → Pick the lock!

GexAlmighty, thanks for your feedback! and you're right, in fact I'm thinking that It will be more fun that the player can only hit 'space bar' once per lock and if he or she fails the wall close rapidly. I'll be adding this feature for sure!
I heard the dangerous looking ambient audio. Then I saw the guy's face I laughed so hard! I'm sorry if that was unintended but it was really funny! I feel like there should've been a bad feedback for pressing at the wrong time, I was just spamming spacebar and getting through all levels, but then...the walls stopped moving. And I was just getting through the levels without the walls moving.
It's fixed, sorry about that. Now if you hit the red areas you're dead :)
Game fits the theme very well. Idea's also quite interesting.
Thanks!
Good Gaming Idea, Music needs to be improved Graphics good
Fun little game. Had a good laugh with this! :D
I did it on my third attempt. Was a fun little challenge, only thing I would change is how long you have to wait until you can try again. There are a lot of ways you could expand this concept into a more complete experience, but for something made in a weekend this isn't all that bad.
Goog idea and game itself. But I really confused because of static walls (after second attempt, I guess, for the first time and after fourth for the next time) and "TOO BRUTAL" label, which stayed till the game's end and even further. Wish you good luck with finishing the game.
I really dig how concise this is. The art is really charming and gameplay is simple, nothing wrong with that.
That dude looks like someone out of an old Sierra adventure - I love it.
I wonder if there's a better balance about how many times you can get it wrong - ie you're on a timer, and it speeds up each time you miss, or something like that. Having to get it perfect did feel "too brutal" until I got the hang of it.
Great game, good job!
